South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

There were many things would caused a Were-Creature to feel ashamed or humiliated when they were among their kind. Centuries with Were-Creatures acting as 'pets' for Vampires in today's society it was seen as a crime against your own blood should you be caught trailing beside a Vampire, willingly. Should a Were-Creature be forced to be at the mercy of a Vampire then it was the job of the Were community to do something to fix that and free the victim. Though there was a grey area when it came to a Were being controlled, and that was with the title of being a familiar. It was a tricky spot. To some, having a powerful supernatural as an ally for the Were community had its advantages, so long as the Were being the familiar is treated with respect. To walk amongst their own kind with some wretched collar was humiliating for any Were-Creature to endure, especially if they were amongst their peers. Though right now the ebony she-wolf was feeling ashamed with the muzzle and attached lead around her own muzzle. Desperately her paws would scrape at the side of her face, claws meeting the leather as she tried loosening it. Grey trimmed ears would prick forward when she heard the growl, her lithe frame instantly freezing in place on the ground. Unable to use her teeth to protect herself she issued her own warning snarl, useless teeth barred as her fur began to bristle upwards. Harshly she felt Lucian's baritone voice slam into her head, the communication difficult to get through. She hardly trusted him and rarely did she spend much time with him, only have small talk about work, doing everything she could to dance around the topic of her personal life. Having him circle her only caused her to panic.

As he began to lower his jaw above her head, his teeth catching onto the leather she jerked back not trusting him completely to do this, though she could hardly get away, his teeth had slipped through the leather, as he wanted, but the device did not break. Hearing another males voice only caused her heart to beat faster. The males in her pack always did enjoy harming her, when the time was right, and as of right now those dark memories began to flood back. Unable to protect herself then she had to accept the attacks, curl herself in a ball to protect the most vital important spots should their madness consume them and the thrill to kill caused their minds to go Round the bend. With the larger male inquiring the same question, she couldn't help, but shake her head, even though Lucian's teeth was holding the leather atop her skull. She could feel his warm neck and the need to run, instead of fight, only increased. Past experience warned her she would be harmed and she barely trusted these other males to think differently. Her voice would softly reach their own minds with her subtle plea.

"No, I'm fine...just please get me out of this thing."

Her cold nose caught the scent of two females nearby, one familiar and one just...off. Her head would scan around catching sight of the other wolf, those green eyes holding back a sense of dread, assuming that this particular wolf was a little bit off edge. She had seen such similarity in her emerald gaze settled upon her own slate eyes when she had entered into her feral mind. Luckily, she didn't feel the faint traces of her feral mind wanting to come out just yet. She couldn't help, but agree with what the female said, she would feel better if she could run...if she could run away from them. The scent of Alexis was much stronger than before signaling she was close by and hearing her voice had comforted her, if only slightly. Turning her muzzled head to her side, her fluffy ebony and silver coated tail slammed into the ground in a grateful manner, as her own words whispered a soft warning.

"Alexis...stay close."

Even though the muzzle was still on her, she wouldn't allow anything to happen to her friend. She would protect her, like always, sensing that Alexis would share the idea that being in a crowd amongst canines wasn't something they were eager to participate in.
