South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

South
"WHAT IS IT LIKE?" HE WHISPERED
"IT'S LIKE DROWNING. EXCEPT YOU CAN SEE EVERYONE AROUND YOU BREATHING." I REPLIED
The initial burst of speed Raven displayed as she darted forward to greet Regan was met by a silent snarl and tensed muscles. It isn't until a moment later when the wolfs tongue met her cheek that Regan forced her body to relax -- too long had she been without any physical contact that did not cause her harm. A long moment later and the ebony tigress relaxed further and even allowed her head to tilt slightly and press against the grey wolfs affectionate ministrations. While Raven reaffirmed their connection through physical means Regan's amethyst gaze followed the onyx panther as he moved closer. This was both a familiar and yet oddly disturbing habit Regan had developed when it came to Tetradore. The tigress watched him for many reasons, few she would share and the girl watched him because he fascinated her. Always had. Good to know some things never changed. It took consideration and an outward tuning of her senses before she allowed her lids to slip down and close in a slow blink of genuine feline affection. "Missed you." She breathes into Raven's mind because she had missed her friend. Just that simple act of sharing her mind-space was bittersweet. It calmed a broken piece of her just as it infuriated a volatile sense of self. Regan was beginning to wonder just how long it would take before sharing her mind again no longer evoked this need to recoil.

The brief touch of Raven's head to her neck made the tigress shudder. It would seem Regan required time to reintegrate herself into familial touch once again. But then, it never had come easily for the girl. Regan wasn't sure what it was exactly that alerted her to the panther's approach, other than the fact that she had always had a very acute awareness of him in her space. He seemed to throw off a physical touch with just his aura. Suddenly he commanded her entire focus and her body\s awareness of her him grew with each step he took in her direction. Her body froze when he glided into touching distance and at the first brush of his muzzle to hers a physical and mental gasp escaped her. The feel of his skin as it dragged along her side caused a rush of sensation and Regan was pleasantly surprised that only a small fraction of her mind recoiled from the stimulation. The feel of his mind touching hers was less intrusive then Raven's had been. Most likely because the tigress had been prepared for the rich baritone of his mental voice. The sentiment behind his simple words were not lost on the girl and while the tigress simply laid her head to rest against his shoulder her inner self smiled softly. "Thank you." Simple words but heartfelt. Then he was moving away and the loss of his touch was almost an ache before she managed to switch her attention to the tawny leopard who shared such a similar soul to her own.

Regan had felt his gaze first and longer than the others. Knowing he had sensed her likely before the rest for he, like her, was attuned to otherness of their world on a more sensory level. Her amethyst eyes linger on his spotted frame and she can sense his inner turmoil and jealousy with ease. Ah. How easy it made understanding each other when both were so inadequate with words. Slowly and silently as always the tigress approached the boy and lingered close for a moment before slowly reaching out her bump her jaw to his and brush along his cheekbone. She knew he would need to scent of himself to linger on her skin as the others would. Needed to sense their connection in a wholly physical sense as she did. When the brush of his wild mind met hers she chuffed a broken greeting. "Tobias." A single word. A name. Just as his had been and it was all they needed to reaffirm their places once again. The broken parts of her coalesced for a brief moment as the boy drew himself along her side and then reappeared next to Raven and Tetradore.

A breath and then another. Home. She was finally...home.
