South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

She may never understood why Henry wanted to help her but she appreciated it all the same. He was a good man but he couldn't help her with shifting so she needed the horse for that. She would go back to his house but she would never forget Henry. She was actually beginning to think of him as a friend and she didn't abandon friends. He was good to her so he had her loyalty, even without knowing or asking for it. This was how she worked. If you gained her trust, she wouldn't take it back unless you did something awful or unforgivable. The horse had gained her respect through fighting, something she understood a lot better than most things. But trust was going to be harder to come by for him because he was so mysterious. He didn't speak his mind and he didn't show a lot of emotion. She didn't feel she could trust someone who couldn't show their true emotions. She respected him as her new alpha and knew if he commanded something, she would probably be helpless to disobey but she wanted to trust him on her own terms and that would take some more time.

She thought it odd that the man before her was still fighting what he was. One person telling you is coincidence or maybe they're crazy. Two people is definitely coincidence but three? By the time she got to the horse telling her, she was already convinced that there was at least something wrong with her but she didn't know what. Why was he being so stubborn? Wasn't he at least curious to find out if everyone else was just crazy or if there really was something more to it? When she leaned up to sniff him, he pulled away but she didn't think about it, figuring he just didn't like his space being compromised or something. When she told him what he, he told her she was mistaken and she snorted as she leaned back, rolling her eyes.

"MY NOSE DOESN'T LIE. WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT, YOU'RE NOT HUMAN. WELCOME TO MY WORLD. YOU KNOW I'VE BEEN A COYOTE SINCE I WAS...WELL, EVER SINCE I COULD REMEMBER? HOW DO YOU THINK I FEEL? SUDDENLY I'M IN THIS SMOOTH HUMAN SKIN SUIT AND BEING TOLD I HAVE TO WEAR ITCHY CLOTHES AND BATHE AND STUFF. THIS ISN'T MY CUP OF TEA EITHER BUT YOU NEED TO MAN UP AND ACCEPT IT. YOU'RE A WERE, HENRY."

Her eyes narrowed on him, daring him to argue. She had that air of finality to her, the kind that always made Caesar and the rest of the pack back down. She had her moods just like any other woman. When they went to the couch and she turned her head to check his hearing, she wasn't at all surprised that he heard what she said. She smirked, glad that she was right.

"BETTER THAN PRETTY GOOD. NO HUMAN SHOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO HEAR THAT. I BET YOU CAN SEE PRETTY GOOD TOO, ESPECIALLY IN THE DARK."

She had walked over to the light switch while she was talking, sure that he was too distracted with his own stubborness and making a bed or something for her. She knew what those are for, having watched too many humans switch them on so they can see to chase her off their property at night. She switched it off as she said the last part, throwing the room into darkness and then she leaned against the wall quietly and crossed her arms to see what he would do.
