South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.
Home of: The Cavalry

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

There was a reason why only Weres were allowed to fight within the Ark. Hearing that teasing tone from the witch beside caused a small simper to appear as she chuckled softly. It did seem amusing after all that the witch was willing to enter a ring full of deadly animals to fight, but was terrified of a little bit of ice. It seemed quite impossible to believe that these blades were actually working in keeping her upright on the ice. For a moment she silently tested the blades. Slowly her right foot would extend forward, feeling how the blade and ice connected. Keeping her arms extended to help herself balance, she wobbled slightly as she brought her left foot forward. Waving her arms to the side slightly she found herself remaining standing. Pleased with herself she lifted her left foot for Serafina to finish her work, ignoring the white-haired witch. Raven was assured in the fact that Vhalla would have died within that ring had they not intervened. Wobbling slightly, now standing upon blades she attempted to move forward, catching herself for a moment as she shifted in place again, slowly catching on to at least the gist of it. Serafina's assurance that she wasn't considered a familiar was left with a shake of her head. If she was supposed to be Serafina's familiar, then she wasn't a very good one at all. Anything she told Serafina to do, or even suggested, was ignored...what good was she to her? Of course she did everything she could to keep the woman safe, but familiars were supposed to give advice and how good of a familiar could Raven be...if Serafina never listened? With a shrug she murmured softly explaining to the woman how she saw things.

"Yes, you're my witch, but you're a familiar too. Familiars are supposed to be guides. I steer you from doing something wrong or stupid, but you don't listen to me. You try to steer me into...well anything you want and I follow along."

It was rather true. Anything Serafina proposed that they do, whether Raven thought it was good or bad, she simply tagged along. The order to fetch Vhalla was answered with an annoyed look at first. Another word, other than fetch, would have been more ideal to the lupine. Surely another word like 'bring her here' or 'transport the girl from there to here,' or even the simple word as 'please.' Any of these phrases would have been better rather than the other. Easily she grabbed onto the assassin, lifting her gently from the ground so as not to startle her more. While the witch flailed about, eyes narrowed in annoyance, as she kept a stronger hold on the woman, it would be a pity if she accidentally dropped her. It was rare for Raven to hear any sort of praise come from the witch, and for a moment her head lifted upwards in a pleased manner. Although a part of her was annoyed with being called a dog. It was degrading to be compared to a pet, a dimwitted mongrel. With a defeated sigh she quickly chided the woman's error, wanting her to try and not dismiss her as some sort of pet.

"I don't like being compared to a dog...it's insulting. You wouldn't call a lion a kitten, would you?"

Carefully she placed the woman upon the ice in a placid manner. It would be a bit rather nerve-racking to so suddenly be in the air and then on a slippery solid ground. Which was why Raven was trying to be kind enough to keep the girl upright after her short little trip. Without any hesitation she grabbed ahold of the woman's arm, hoping that would help her stay steady should she begin to slip. When she shakes her off, Raven obliges and lets the woman go, allowing her to suffer her own fate. If he did not want to accept her help, then that was fine by her. Bringing her arms to cross her chest, a surprise yelp of surprise was given, as the girl's hold upon her arm brought her forward, finding herself unstable now upon the ice. Wanting to keep herself up she used her telekinesis to get her to steady upright again upon the ice. A low growl was given in warning as she yanked her arm away from the woman, not pleased to be touched without her permission. Crossing her arms she shrugged her shoulders, giving the girl a subtle warning of just how Serafina worked.

"Honestly she never asks for permission in anything, she just does what she wants."

Well, it was true. Quietly she watched as the woman attempted to create blades upon the other's shoes. Finding this particular power quite interesting, far better than her ability to speak to ghosts. While the girl introduced herself Raven was distracted for a moment as she attempted to make herself move again, wobbling slightly still a bit unfamiliar with this. Her head would tilt to the side as she stared at Vhalla, puzzled as to why she would say they were a cute couple. Raven was absolutely assured that they were nothing more than just close friends. Besides her mate and deceased Alpha, Serafina was the only other person she trusted completely. After all, they were connected, they had to have some trust between one another for anything good to happen. It was Serafina's affirmation that they were good, at whatever they meant as a couple that caused a small simper to appear. It was rather endearing to hear that Serafina approved. Still she was confused as to why they would call them a couple. Happily she responded with a Cheshire grin.

"A couple? I already have a mate, but Sera is my best friend. Who would allow me to do this?

Suddenly Serafina would begin to slowly glide along the ice on her skates. Gently she moved the witch left, and right, zig-zagging her fluidly across the ice. The lupine making Serafina like her marionette doll. Oh, but Vhalla wouldn't be left out in this scenario either. The white-haired woman would join Serafina on the ice, the lupine in complete control of the two as she caused them to glide along the ice in a steady manner. Clearly someone was enjoying herself!
