South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

for the lips of a forbidden woman drip honey
her speech is smoother than oil
but in the end she is bitter as wormwood
sharp as a two-edged sword
her feet go down to death
her steps follow the path to Sheol

- PROVERBS 5:3-5;;
"It seems as if you've found the perfect place then." Her soprano voice commented softly, her visage pointed upwards towards the heavens as she eyed the skies above her without the magnificent magnification of the telescope. Briefly, the young woman reached up to brush a wayward lock of hair behind her ear. Her stormy gaze shifted from the skies above her to the man at her side, her inquisitive nature quickly overcoming any reservations she might have previously held with their encounter. "Leo." She repeated softly, her head tilting to the side as she listened to him. A soft scoff was given at the sheer mention of the daily astrological readings that donned the news papers and sometimes even the radios. "It's a good thing you chose to ignore them, they're all rubbish anyways. 'Oh your star is in jupiter's retrograde so you should buy some shoes.'" It was her best attempt at mockery, though really she did the radio man's ridiculous voice some justice. Nothing aggravated the fair female more then those who attempted to guide others on matters they knew absolutely nothing about. The purchasing of a new wardrobe or calling up an old friend was not what the stars were for, as far as she was concerned.

"Let's see....Leo the lion, spans from 120 to 150 degrees of the tropical zodiac. The fifth astrological sign..." She paused, her memory searching for the information she demanded, "Your a fire element, ruled by the sun. You are the king of the zodiac." A warm simper crossed her feminine features as she stepped closer towards him, her gaze intently eying the man in front of her as she continued, "You are as proud as a lion, filled with integrity and generous but you can be patronizing and interfering. Health wise your relatively screwed - your prone to head aches, will require constant medical attention and should sleep more then other signs, if you believe all that." Frankly, Serafina hardly thought the stars controlled her health but some swore by it. She was willing to admit that she hardly had faith in all aspects of what some might call her life style. Some she ignored, some intrigued her, and some she lived by, choosing her own path amongst her so called religion.

She paused directly in front of him, purposefully placing very little space between their figures as she finished, "Your worst relationship matches are with Gemini, Capricorn and Pisces. Your best are with Aquarius, Aries, and, yours truly, Sagittarius." Her hand rose to her chest as she spoke of herself. It was true, they would be a fantastic match, as far as the celestial bodies were concerned. A part of her was curious, inquisitive to know just how right they were and softly the girl whispered, "What do you think of that, Ivan?" Her attention was quite fully devoted to the quirky fellow and the words he might speak next.
