South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

years I've walked in the coldest winds
from sorrow and pain I find my strength
the more I hurt, the clearer I see.

Those emerald eyes stared hard at the young woman across from him, entirely suspicious of that seemingly simple conclusion she was able to draw from that dubbance. There were few, truly, who even made the connection that Tetradore was his surname, and few even more that dared to press him on it, much less call him on it. His lips pressed together ever so slightly in consideration, those bright green eyes rolled before he settled back in his seat with a vague hint of irritation. "It's Aiden. Aiden Tetradore. I don't like to be called by it." He stated simply, entirely unwilling to answer to his given name by her. After all, his sibling was perhaps the only soul alive that called him such and recently that sound had irked him more then it should have. Then again, his relationship with her had been near dissolving of late. Still, she seemed altogether eager to demand far more transparency then he was willing to give, at least considering he knew strikingly little of the woman in front of him. In time, surely, he would have given her all she wanted from him, when he knew of her character just as much and yet, instead, it seemed she desired more of a crash course on the entirety of his life. This was not going to go well.

Even so, it was that insistence that she wanted to know if Frost, however, that saw the man's tremulant soul calm. He listened to that witty banter that so left her lips at her insistence that he get 'creative'. Such freedom was certainly not the man's strong suit. He knew how to get creative with rules imposed upon him and yet, really, he'd never been afforded the opportunity to. A small shrug crossed his shoulder as a way of response, at least, until it was his turn to so engage in that game she'd placed before him. It was surprisingly easy to speak of that Norwegian horse he so utterly abhorred, much less what the man had done to his pack, his girlfriend, and himself. He watched as she nibbled on those potatoes as he concluded that, on some levels, he could not fully fault the man for all of his actions, even if he despised the creature all the same. It was decidedly difficult to find empathy with the fellow, especially when his sheer presence and haughty demeanor so managed to make Tetradore's skin crawl. Then again, perhaps it was simply those instincts as an Alpha to protect what was his, and in turn what was being stolen from him.

That look of contempt upon his features were decidedly subtle, present only in the small frown that marred the corner of his lips or the way his baritone voice changed ever so slightly. It was habit now, that glimpse of indifference he so often wore. It was a facade that had beaten into him - one that he'd toed away from only to have...well....all of this happen. Perhaps if he had been the man that Risque had made him into, he could have kept Frost away, he could have kept Nadya safe, he could have stopped that whole pregnancy in the first place. Still...what-ifs were a dangerous game to play, even if he excelled well in it. The were-King glanced up at the young woman as she began to speak, declaring the man a near psychopath, that simple title so prompted him to furrow his eyebrows. A small shrug once again crossed his shoulder and yet, even he knew she got one thing right - anyone who got close to him was a target, even if he knew it was hardly him that Frost was truly after. He was just another obstacle. "I am well aware." He admitted in agreement before turning that question back towards the woman as he inquired the obvious - why come here?

His gaze remained steady upon her as she spoke of herself, clearly making that trip here far more commonplace than even he could tell it had been. His eyebrows rose ever so slightly and yet, he remained entirely silent as she continued on all the same. She hardly told more than he did and that alone told him well that there was a story behind it, even if she insisted that he knew the rest. Still, his head bobbed ever so slightly, willing now to accept the majority of it. After all, he still had a question of his own to inquire after in return for his own answer. He placed that final piece of his own steak in his mouth as she toyed with her fingers. His gaze briefly met that golden hue of her irises, even as she asked one single question that even he hardly had a logical answer for. A soft sigh left his lips as his head shook ever so slightly. "It's the stupidest reason ever. He doesn't hate me, he just wants my sister for his own and I stand in his way. She was my Beta though...I think she will not be for much longer. They can have each other and run off on their happily ever after or whatever bullshit they think they're going to find." His sibling, after all, had lied to him equally as much. She had betrayed him just as much as far as he was concerned. His attention turned back to her but moments later, the man entirely certain he'd given her enough of a truth to ask for one in return, so poking a hole in that effort to make her own story appear dull. "Why'd you burn your car? No one burns their vehicle unless they're running from someone...or don't want to be found." He knew well how powerful of a thing fire could be. The question was - how did she think he wouldn't make this connection?
