South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The Sun Also Rises

Goodness but that drink was horrific! Dorian so finding he was hardly opposed to the taste so much as he was to the strength of it. This drink not at all like those fine wines he so often enjoyed with Sebastian or even those milder gin and tonics the vampire made for him. This the very sort of modern alcohol Dorian was steadily learning to avoid if only for its potency and yet, for the purpose of so celebrating that upcoming birth of Troy's child the Monarch was determined to celebrate in the traditional manner. Besides, it would surely be distinctly poor taste not to finish the drink now, Dorian struggling to conceal his surprise at that drink as he attempted to hold back that need to cough and relieve himself off that burning sensation. The man oblivious to just how much his surprise in this truly showed in that precarious moment. Troy struggling to hold back that laughter before commenting that there was nothing like a good whiskey. The Fae entirely content to agree with that in the most part. How good it was seemed debatable and yet he had surely never had anything like it in all his life.

"Nothing at all."

He uttered wholly truthfully, his voice holding that slight thickness as he attempted to push past the burn within his throat and offer Troy those further words on his ever-blossoming relationship with Sebastian. The pair only continuing to go from strength to strength. Dorian quite assured that in all his long years of life he never had and likely never would meet someone quite like Sebastian again. The Fae assured he hardly knew the words for it in any language. Dorian so hopelessly in love with that the man that all other emotions seemed trivial by comparison and yet, the Monarch was a distinctly private being in every sense of the word. Dorian nothing if not polite in what he chose to share off his relationship with his newfound companion, that almost curious look that touched Troy's features hardly missed and yet nor did Dorian seek to call him out upon it either. If Troy had taken up with a vampire then surely his thoughts upon the matter had begun to change? How could they not? A vampire was set to be the mother off his child, a child that might very well prove to have vampiric tendencies in turn, Dorian contemplating that idea a moment before dismissing it again. The man simply allowing Troy to come to terms with his own thoughts on that before commenting upon that sheer amount of time it had taken them both to find that significant other. The man hardly finding himself capable of arguing with that logic, Dorian taking another, far smaller sip off his drink and finding that whole more manageable continued;

"I have come to believe in the power of fate, I am assured that others meet for a reason."

Even if that aforementioned meeting took several hundred years and a veritable re-organisation of time and space to occur. Dorian content to believe that he had perhaps always been designed to meet Sebastian, Troy, by that same token, perhaps always destined to meet Amelia and yet for now the man said little else upon those designs of Fate or that single being he knew whom so enjoyed informing him off his own future. Dorian's thoughts turning then instead to that Monarchy, his head shaking softly in assurance he had no desires to begin his own. The man assured he shouldn't have the time to run it in between all else he did, let alone as to what he would do with it all the same. Dorian inquiring instead as to whether or not such a thing was within Troy's mind to do, Dorian hardly opposed to assisting him in that. He found Troy likeable in the least. The other man chuckling softly before dismissing any ideas off his own leadership- only to suddenly mention a name Dorian knew rather well, that recognition clear on his face and yet for a moment the man remained contemplative.

"I know Andras, I met him for the first time rather a few years ago in Italy when I was no older than twenty or so. He came to speak with my Father in regards to a treaty of sorts. Andras ran a very large Monarchy then. Until him I'd only ever met one other Fae other then myself."

Dorian paused a moment, further considering just what Troy asked. After all, it was for his unborn child he considered aligning himself to a Monarchy, Dorian thereby considering the advantages off that from Troy's own perspective.

"He was, when I knew him, a very good leader. He protects his own and I do not feel I would be remiss in telling you that aligning yourself to him would not be a poor choice. I think your child would have safety within his Monarchy. He was a fair man then. I have met with him more recently myself and though he has changed over the years I would still have faith within him to be a good leader. I've not yet seen him give me reason to think otherwise."
