South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.
Home of: The Cavalry

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

That insistence that there would be a conversation of her less than favorable activities was hardly a surprise for her. After all, Raven had never quite taken a liking to the dangers of her business. She could only imagine how furious Azrael would have been to discovered she sold true magical artifacts. It was an inevitability, naturally, she'd known this would occur from the beginning after those rumors hit the wiccan circuit of hunters intervening on their business, though precious few of the shops within the metropolis were genuine in any fashion. It was but a matter of time before he wound up on her doorstep and, likewise, she had been assured it was a matter of time before her affinity with magic became too great for him to bare and that relationship they had fractured. Serafina was a cynic by nature. Though truly, no one had ever given her a reason to be otherwise. It was the expectation of all of this however, that saw hint of confusion brush across her features as his hand lightly squeezed her own, the man quickly assuring her that tonight she would be free from such judgements. Though it seemed more akin to simply prolonging the inevitable than any true acceptance on his part. And yet, she was certainly not ignorant to the sheer peculiarity of all of this.

Rather than dwell upon such things, she watched as that lupine creature approached them, that tail wagging with blood marring the now matted fur around the wolverine's mouth. That swaying tail told well of the wolf's joy at seeing her, much less the press of that woman's head against her side. The simple action alone was enough to cause her eyebrows to furrow in consideration, much less those softly uttered thoughts that were so pressed into her mind. Her eyebrow rose in a truly skeptical fashion as her gaze slowly slid towards the man at her side. In truth, she hardly expected either would want to stay the evening with her in the wake of what had occurred, not did it occur to her to beg for their presence out of some perceived idea of wanting safety. The streets she'd spent most of her youth upon were rough, wrought with thieves and kidnappers and murders and drug dealers and any variety of dangers in between and still, she had slept curled up in alleyways and under freeways passes. She was certainly not some flower that required safeguarding and yet...she supposed it was...sweet that both intended to linger at her side for the evening from some fear that she might be hurt, doubtful though it was. The number of deaths that surrounded her was quite palpable for the girl, much less the ghastly figures that so followed her with such malicious intent. Though they could not harm her, they certainly could cause damage to their environment, much less the night terrors they provoked within her, even if she never spoke of it to neither her familiar or her boyfriend.

She hardly had a chance to answer, however, before the softly uttered sigh from her companion drew her gaze upwards towards the blond. She knew well Azrael was not fond of the wolf, nor the wolf fond of him in return and yet, she was entirely astonished of the compromise that so left his lips. For several moments, the young witch simply stared at him, entirely baffled by that change within him before her gaze slowly turned back towards Raven. Her head bobbed ever so slightly in response to that request. "I'm fine with that as well." She uttered, entirely willing to accept that bargain least either one of them forced her to choose between them. She hardly uttered a word as Azrael led her from that building, those stormy eyes merely glancing behind her every so often to eye those ghastly figures that so followed in the woman's wake, at least, until that baritone voice drew her attention. A soft groan left her lips at the sheer notion of that state of her home, the simple idea of it was enough to stress the girl perhaps far greater than that whole affair of her kidnap, interrogation, and rescue combined. She so clung to the orderliness of her house and to have that so ruined was a true travesty. "Is it really that awful?" She inquired, unable to help the hint of hopefulness within her voice. After all, the young witch could scarcely remember all the damage she herself had caused in the fray of her capture.

She was busy enough considering the state of her door and, in turn, her home as a whole to remain altogether oblivious of that sidelong glance that Azrael provided the wolverine. At least, until those words so drew her attention back towards him. The girl found herself internally bracing at the beginning of that sentence, altogether prepared for the worst only to find herself pleasantly...surprised by that level of....no, acceptance was not the right word and support seemed....somehow wrong too. Still, she hardly expected that simple logic to fall from his lips, the Dark Hunter clearly attempting to work within the confines of her life to find some sort of solution that might please him without entirely chastising the far young woman. It was, truly, the first time in which someone had ever vocalized any care for her that did not contain some sort of underlying judgment of her or her thoughts or her capabilities. Not even Raven had so mastered coming to the woman with such a distinctly open tenderness. Abruptly, she shifted forward onto her toes, leaning up to kiss his cheek. "You're right, I'm sorry." She uttered simply, slowly falling back to her heels. "I'll try whatever you want to teach me okay? And we can make the house safer if you want but...I'm not budging on aesthetics." The young witch provided the man at her side a warm grin, almost teasing about that vain nature even she was well aware she held. Still, she was willing enough to meet him halfway in this and that, itself, was surely as astonishing as that subtle shift within the Dark Hunter.
