South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The University places a high focus both upon educating future generations but also on research to help revolutionize the world. The University welcomes the talent of students across the world to enroll and unlock their unlimited potential. With applications from across the nation, classes fill up quickly.

The idea that a hiking store was 'stooping' to a new low momentarily saw some flicker of amusement dance upon the stallions features in as much as a horse could ever truly look amused. How disappointed his Naja was sure to be when she discovered the very sort of hiking clothing she seemed to despise would be required for the vast majority of their time within his own country. Outside those main cities the land was far more wild then any mere park he was assured the woman was used too and to travel into the depths of that country would surely prove to be more difficult then he suspected his girlfriend had ever considered. For now at least, the stallion hardly saw any need to spoil her evening with those truths, leaving the panther instead to explain mannequins in much the same fashion he had, even if Frost was assured it would be lost on Malia all the same. The woman all but convinced they were 'stupid'. The coyotes request to spar instead of shop merely saw one eye lift curiously upward somewhere beneath that forelock, Frost hardly surprised in any sense. Truth be told he saw little need not to allow the coyote to at least attempt to engage Nadya in such an activity, remaining in some state of fitness was decidedly useful, Frost inclined to see just how well Nadya might spar all the same. After all, Malia was sufficiently skilled. He expected no less from Nadya in turn.

I see no reason why you cannot spar and then shop or vice versa. I am sure there is time for both.

Whether they decided to do as such was for them to decide, his head turned back towards Malia then as she asked if that hiking store contained leather, Frost unable to prevent that slight roll of his violet eyes. For all the girls disdain of real fur she hardly seemed to share the same aversion to leather. Frost offering that subtle nod. Leather in hiking stores an almost certain guarantee. His gaze wandered then towards those children, watching them as they gambolled about, the stallion attempting to keep his tail clear off Isabella'a determined lunging. Frost, for the first time, considering a need to cut it in the coming days if only to prevent it touching the ground and being within her reach as it was now. Cutting his tail a distinctly difficult thing to do, the man dismissing those thoughts for now as Malia made some effort to interact with the child. His query on her experience with children met with that easy response, as if he should have known all along. This Ceaser fellow only proved to be more and more curious the more he heard off him, Frost hardly inclined to disagree with Malia's comment all the same. He would ask her more on this fellow in the future. That subject of riding seeming to make Nadya uneasy, the woman declaring she would not have her children do something she had not tested for herself, that stallions tail flicking up at his flanks almost absentmindedly.

I'm sure that can be arranged.

He commented simply, the man assured time could be found to take Nadya to the beach or some other place with a soft enough ground to prevent her getting injured when she inevitably fell. Frost hardly opposed to allowing certain individuals to rest upon his back. Malia's query about that silly clothing seeing a snort erupt from within him.

Yes they do. Just like dogs.

He assured the woman readily, this seeming to amuse her decidedly so before the question about the weight of humans upon his back saw his own head tilt. Frost supposing he had never truly considered men heavy and yet to a creature as relatively small as a coyote the weight surely seemed immeasurable.

I weigh over fifteen hundred pounds in this form, I can carry them easily enough.

It had been years since anyone had truly held these sorts of questions, Frost supposing he was willing to indulge them, the man in a relatively good mood this evening. Frost often far more....pleasant with his pack then he was inclined to be with others. Malia's understanding of Hunters, it seemed, limited to those men who hunted for food rather then those whom hunted for supernaturals. The equine hardly having considered she was this unfamiliar with those dangers, his gaze drifting to Nadya briefly.

Yes. Though the Hunters I carried hunted both other prey animals and other supernaturals. I will explain more later.

Now was hardly the time to engage the girl in that conversation fully, Frost content to let them return to that topic of riding, his lip lifting slightly at Malia's mention of that spar they engaged in when they had first met, the coyote smirking at him now.

Next time you won't have teeth to cheat with. As for more clothes, they are never bad to have.

He responded readily, Frost willing enough to take up that challenge. The coyote glancing towards him as if seeking some sort of reassurance those hiking clothes were acceptable, Frost offering a subtle nod in turn. Nadya perhaps sure to have more of a challenge then she anticipated between hiking and leather and mannequins. Frost offering that suggestion the girls might desire to hunt, Nadya apologetically stating she had already eaten having failed to anticipate another predator. Malia content to find her own food, leaving the pair alone. His large, feathered hooves carried him easily back towards that panther now, his muzzle lowered to bump against her in that small token off affection before his knees folded abruptly beneath him, that heavy war horse lowering himself to the ground before abruptly rolling onto his side. Both those kittens unable to resist the now downed-horse, both attempting to scramble up his white sides.

See? I'm child-safe.
