South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.
Home of: The Cavalry

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The University places a high focus both upon educating future generations but also on research to help revolutionize the world. Right at this very moment, the stallion situated his head so close that it wouldn't take too much to lunge at the stallion in a direct assault. If she attacked his eyes, she would be able to slip away into the darkness before he had even realised she had disappeared in those shadows that loved her so much. At least in theory. Her very coat was the same obsidian as the darkest, all consuming shadows within those woods. She liked the way, able to blend into the forest within that familiar darkness which cradles her very form as though it cherished her.

Instead of acting, she spews those words toward him. Her golden-amber eyes glowing beacons, burning wild with her intensity as she watched him upon her boulder, those claws digging into the surface of that stone. In some ways, he is like Negan. Imposing and even though this creature was prey and not predator he sure as hell had a presence about him. It was clear the she-wolf was not happy with this particular man's existence within her space; he practically brought a chill that flooded the air and filled ebbed upon her with a particular feeling of dread. Although, these little emotions that she once held back inside of her being as stoic as a statue she doesn't bother to harness them anymore. She was not shackled like some prisoner anymore. The effort she used to conceal herself would be the energy she used for power, a fuel that could be weaponized. What good is it to live in a world where you are merely existing hiding everything about you in a hardened husk? She had been there, far too long. Her life was a means of survival, who she was and who she became shaped her and made her some cold calloused thing that could survive that existence. But now, she was going to be whatever she damn well pleased. Mira just wasn't going to settle and let anyone, even Frost sabotage this opportunity to simply run free and be the untamed creature she was meant to be. Wolves are not meant to be tame, horses might, but wolves were meant to run wild. She would be damned if Frost ruined this for her. The bastard didn't even know her. She could see her words irritated the beast before her as he simply lashed his tail to and fro, she could hear the sound it made like whips in the air. In fact, any noise he made felt heightened somehow.

His words damn well made her scoff. "Oh well in that case, Bad News Pony. Pull up a chair and come for tea." She rolled her golden eyes, her wolfish maw hung open as if showing him arsenal. Pleasant? He definitely didn't have that vibe about him, maybe it was the stories talking but the man before her had a more ominous ambience and whatever he could want with her in this very moment was not to her liking whatsoever. It seemed like Frost was the bearer of bad news, a prophet that often meant death or suffering. If he wanted to put up a false act than she would be happy to oblige, at least for now. But there wasn't one second in hell that she would buy what he was selling. Yet, maybe she could find out just what the horse wanted with her in the first place. Wasn't knowledge power? It seemed like the only one looking for a fight was Frost, she didn't strike first. She wasn't afraid of a fight if it came down to it but without knowing why it wouldn't solve her pesky little question of what he wanted with her. She was nothing, no one to him.

She had every right knowing what business he had with her, after all, it did include her, didn't it? But that was when the chill started. That strange creeping feeling she thought was fear. The she-wolf felt it within her paws at first, slowly travelling up her leg. She had not felt this kind of fear before. She shifts her paws uneasily, trying to shake the feeling as it failed. That was when the twinge of panic began to flutter like a hummingbird's wings. That brave heart she possessed pounded erratically within the confines of her chest. Yet even still, the unexplainable did not make her falter.

He did more than just stand there, he invaded her space, with this ominous presence about him. Not to mention he was notorious for his lies. Surely the man had to know his own reputation that sang free. "You are far from innocent, Frost. From what I hear you lack manners, so excuse my reluctance to make friends." Sarcasm oozes from her. Her wolfish lips almost seemed to tug into a smile, that may have even been deemed disturbing she was sure as damn hell that he was bullshitting her. She had no need for bullshit. At least that helped push the fear down, or what she thought was fear. But that damn cold she felt in her legs still lingered, creeping ever slowly upward. It had to be him, there was no other explanation which only contradicted his claims that he simply just stood there. The only reason why she didn't go all Rambo on his ass was for the mere reason of knowing what he was up to. Although the thought was amusing. Mira stared down the warhorse, dead in the eye. The cold seemed to intensify with that stare, or was it all in her mind? She could feel something off about this whole little impromptu meeting something she didn't quite trust. If one thing that never her steered her wrong, it was her intuition. She snarls at him as though calling him out on his shit.

Calmly, so calmly that it was creepy his cold voice reaches her once more. It was like they were talking about the weather and it was damn unnerving to her for some reason. This was not good. To hell if she was going to become a wolf popsicle. To hell with being forced into such a vulnerable state with this notorious horse. "Just standing there.. Right. To hell with that. I don't want to frozen or unconscious or any of that nonsense. If you think I will just let you take me back you have another thing coming Frost." She had better come up with something quick and act even quicker. She had one shot, one opening and she better not squander it.

Then he mentions Negan and she froze, not because of the ice that threatens her very freedom but that realisation that all came together right before her. "Why the fuck am I not surprised that Negan has something to do with this." She sounded almost exasperated, more so with Negan than the horse. That fear and obscurity she felt turned into pissed off rage at the drop of a hat. It all made sense. Of course, the bastard would send someone else to do his bidding like a weak little rat. Her teeth flashed within that volatile fervour, the fur on the back of her neck bristled. Something snapped inside of her. Something unexplainable, something that originated within the centre of her chest as though her heart beat no longer pumped blood. Heat, unforgiving, and stifling heat, it seemed to spread, one inch at a time as if trying to combat the cold he assaulted her with. Even if it was just intended as a fear tactic, it was still an assault nonetheless. "The piece of shit didn't have the balls to come himself?" She suddenly didn't give a flying crap what came of her. She either left with her freedom or not at all. "You really are that strung up for cash you accepted his dirty money? How do you know he's not going to screw you too?" She scoffs.

He began to circle her like a shark in the water. Oh hell no. She paces that rock right along with him. She was not going to give him that luxury of acting like the predator over her. He seemed to dislike the man and yet he still decided to work for him and be his lackey. She didn't believe his sympathy, not for a damn second.

The heat continued to spread like an inferno within her body. She could feel it and in a way, she welcomes it as it felt empowering and yet oddly uncomfortable without the knowledge of what was happening to her. Suddenly, the ebony coloured wolf began to crack slightly as though her skin was hardened black molten. She suddenly glows furiously from her sides and her paws began to leave scorched paw prints on the rock. She was unaware of this and the sizzling sound that her body made against the cold, too focused on the stallion that threatened her very freedom.

"You think I was a toy? You clearly don't have any clue who I am. I thought you were supposed to be cunning." The heat continued and her very skin began to tingle as if fire ants marched on her body. He was apparently willing to negotiate. "What do you want from me?" Her tone was abrupt and yet she was still using her scalding words instead of spinning out of control. Well, that was new. She was well aware that she didn't have the money or anything of use to offer him. But she wasn't going to admit that.

If she could find out what he wanted, maybe she could get out of this intact. After all, if he brought her back to Negan she would be as good as dead. She knew the example they made out of wolves that left. Then the words of Raven echoed within her skull as if a faint reminder, not to trust the stallion. He was known for spinning his web of lies. "Cold? It's not cold. What the hell are you doing to me? Stop it!" She hissed. She swiped out her paw as if to smack the horse only to see it glowing red hot. That very flick of her paw was enough to spatter him with droplets of molten. What the hell was he doing to her?

What was happening? She thought what she felt for Frost was fear? She was painfully mistaken. What wreaked havoc on her body was not in her control, she could hardly think. This wasn't her. This had to be him! She slammed her paw upon the rock as the molten began to flow from them in a slow but steady stream. But why didn't it burn her? Confusion crosses her features. She glowed like a mighty fiery Phoenix, burning brighter and brighter. Hell, she looked like a bomb ready to detonate. Hell, one could even see the lava that shifted erratically underneath her skin. Did she have skin anymore? The molten continued to ooze out of her as she shifted anxiously. She pulled back her paw as if it burned her and it still continued to ooze that red glowing lava so that it began to stream off the ledge of the rock. Well at least if she was going to die, maybe at the very least she could take him with her.
