South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Take Me Where I've Never Been

Honesty was the best policy. At least that was what my parents always instilled in me. It was wrong to lie. A lie was a lie, even if one was a tiny white lie. I remember one time my Father had me sit with him on the dock, looking over the lake. We were both hiding from my Mother. I didn't feel like attending the party in my dress. I wanted to run around and play, because as a child, that was the most important thing in the world to me. Father found me knee deep in the mud, the pretty powder blue dress with white frills was absolutely ruined. He couldn't help, but laugh. I liked his laugh. It was warm and loud, boisterous. I could easily pinpoint his laugh amongst a large crowd. He asked me how I got in the mud and I told him such silly elaborate story, and that was when the smile fell from his face. He was not pleased that I had told a fib. Grabbing me out of the mud he carried me over to the dock, to sit, as we watched the fireflies twist and turn over the dark water. The light from the building behind us allowed me to see the sad look in his eyes, as she proclaimed he was disappointed in me. That was when I learned I shouldn't lie. Of course I listened to what he had to say, because I never liked it when he said I was a disappointment, it felt like a punch in the gut. I never wanted him to feel that way again for me, which is why I do my best to try and not to lie.

I'm really in a shock that she is actually hear. It's a bit weird really. I mean I only met her once and she seemed like fun. I was eager, I was ready to do whatever I was supposed to do for training. My eyes narrow slightly as I notice her grin, unsure if I'm supposed to trust it or not. You know, if I wanted to be lied to, I would have gladly gone somewhere else. Looking for me? I don't believe that at all. No one has ever bothered to look for me. Why should I believe in what she has to say? Which leads me to wonder why would she need me in the first place? Was I not useful before? I don't know her very well to even attempt such a thing. The only thing I know about her is that she comes and goes. That's it. Nothing else. I don't know what I am supposed to do in this situation. Am I supposed to tell her to leave or am I supposed to tell her to stay? I don't like that tone in her voice. I don't like it one bit. I think she is egging me on...maybe. Or is that what she wants me to think? Unsure with what to do I quietly turnaround grabbing a few water containers, and walk past the woman towards the other stables. With a sigh I respond with an indifferent tone.

"Didn't know I was wanted. Besides why should I ask for you to leave, you've already done that."

I'm just about done with my tasks tonight and I'm not going to have her derail me from completing them. Which is great! Because that means I have no responsibility anymore for the rest of the night. I can do whatever the hell I please, and tonight I feel like I need a good run. If there is one thing I like about being a horse it's the fact that it likes to go to for a run. Not only that, but it is much easier to run on four legs rather than two. I can hear her footsteps behind me. Well, at least I'll have some human company for a change. Setting the water containers down, I take one with me and unlock the stall, and enter it. With a grin I give the bay a gentle bat on his nose as I move freely around the stall. Setting the container on the side of the stall, I turn the knob around to let the water flow. Crossing my arms again I can actually feel her eyes on me, as if she is waiting. What does she want? I'm not the one that did anything wrong. With a shrug, I muttered softly as I keep my eye on the water falling into the container, waiting for it to get to the top.

"I don't need to know where you went or why, it's not my business. But if I'm supposed to be something to you...I'd at least like a little heads up. Maybe a phone call, a note, smoke clouds, Morse code...just something."

I have absolutely no idea why she decided to come now and see me. I was stubborn before I was a horse, and now that I am a horse...I'm even more stubborn than before. Good Luck.
