South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

mira

It wasn't all that surprising that Mira was still a little bit apprehensive at the thought of 'help' in general, let alone help from another supernatural. She wasn't exactly the most trusting thing, but then most people wouldn't. Not after what this lone wolf had gone through. "If you trust her, than that says something. " It was true, Mira didn't know Raven all that well. But she knew enough that the woman was untrusting by nature. Perhaps something the two shared in common. The thought of having powers hasn't really settled in and the fact of the matter was, she had done far too much damage than she would like to admit. She paused, as if thoughtful to the offer instead of flat out rejecting the offer. "I will think about it." She nodded firmly, far too proud to admit she needed the help and apprehensive of aid from a witch she knew nothing about. She remained her at ease demeanour, peering down at charred black paws. As if nervous at the thought of leaking lava again, the fear of it taking over her body, taking over the very forest. Like it had that first night. It was a catch 22, being out here in the forest. If she didn't appease her inner wolf she would be a danger to those around her, but being around all these flammable trees with no way to harness her in if she happen to go all volcanic again made her dangerous with no off switch that she knew of. If she managed to keep her emotions in check it would be alright. At least that's what she told herself. Raven didn't seem like she would be a trigger.

She really should have remained holed up somewhere until she got a better grasp on her strange yet curious new abilities and yet at the same time she had to continue living her life. Now that she knew she had a price on her head she didn't want to be in one place for too long. Despite this arrangement she had with the pale devil she had been warned about. She was sure she couldn't trust his word but it bought her much needed time to figure out how she was going to protect in these turbulent times.

However, she wasn't one to divulge all her woes as much as they were plaguing her, she was not a fretting woman bleeding out to anyone who would lend an ear. Some were an open book but this ever elusive Mira was not an open book. Those who exposed too much about themselves were simply asking for it, she had no tolerance for those that talked too much. It was truly a wonder at how much she had already divulged to this other wolf despite as kind as she was.

She was an outcast through and through. Perhaps she should have just moved along to allow Raven to have her moment. Maybe it was safer for everyone else if she remained on her own. That was when there was a commotion within the forest, albeit a little one but it was enough to make her alert. It didn't take long to realise that it was some foolish prey wandering, playing too close to idle wolves. Mira moved in anticipation, dipping her head in playful bow. A distraction couldn't be the worst thing in the world, could it? But Raven was already launched into action, her tail wagging in anticipation. There was something carefree about that excitement before she sprung into bushes. How could she resist the sweet inescapable call of the hunt?

For a moment Mira hesitated, considering it might be a bad idea if her newfound powers decided to go all uncontrollable again. There was no harm in this? Was she lying to herself? Mira was a skilled hunter and there was no way she was going to turn volcanic hunting after small prey. Prey she could pursue in an absent autopilot. Those long well-muscled easily caught up with her wolf companion. They seemed to match each other side by side down their makeshift path in the forest, successfully dodging trees. She peered at her from the corner of her eyes, her nose working in overtime to capture that scent. "I think it went that way.." She moved quickly through the brush tracking the scent with that acute sense of smell, able to skillfully pick apart her intended scent amongst the cocktail of mingling forest smells. She moves silently toward that lingering trail where the brush grew thicker and the forest grew considerably darker from the dense foliage. A smart place for a spooked rabbit to hide.

She reached out to Raven with her mind. " I can flush it out.. Perhaps you can meet it where it might scurry out?" She questioned, her tone lighthearted as she anticipates this challenge rather than being hungry. Since the coming of her powers her appetite seemed less, while her inner wolf grew more restless. Maybe this was exactly what she needed to settle this raging inferno living within her corporeal body.
