South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The University places a high focus both upon educating future generations but also on research to help revolutionize the world. death incarnate & night triumphant

It wasn't long after Andras gestured to his delicately pointed ears before the girl is leaning forward, invading his space. He might have felt uncomfortable but he didn't fear the tiny woman, if she had been a threat to his safety he would have been confident she would have showed more aggression within the first several moments of their encounter. If anything, he found the petite Fae woman... adorable. Lowering his hand, he merely allows cool amusement to dance in his eyes, though they widen in surprise when he feels her cool fingers upon his ear and yanks it, as if she were proving to herself that it was real. Arching a brow at her, he doesn't say anything about it, nor does he reach up to rub at the tender cartilage. Instead, he allows his hands to casually fall into his pockets as he watches her, his interest piqued momentarily at the queer faerie before him.

As she rattled off a series of questions, he tilts his head at her, a dark laugh escaping his lips. Yes, she was entertaining to say the least. "I'm old, very old," he says nonchalantly, he was one of the last faeries who held such an age, with the exception of Matteo; even he trumped Andras's age by nearly 500 years, it was practically unheard of! "As you age, you tend to grow into your ears," he shrugs in explanation, "However, it's different for everyone. If you're changed from a human to a faerie the transition can be... difficult and wreaks havoc on the body. While being born a Fae can tend to alter how your body grows and ages," he explains even surprised at his own explanation of faeries. Blinking at the stranger, his hazel eyes lock on her face briefly, "For being a faerie you don't know much about us, do you?" He comments idly, with no intention of offending, merely an observation brought to light.

As he gives her a name, the amusement in his eyes only grows. She was... peculiar. "I suppose I am all of those things, wouldn't you agree?" A midnight chuckle emits from his mouth. "And what of you? What is your name?" He asks, laughter still coloring his lyrics while he inspects the faerie girl. As their conversation shifts to her sleeping arrangements, he watches her small frame move away from him, though she doesn't entirely leave yet, instead she fires back at him like the little spitfire she was. "Are you aware there are far more comfortable places to spend the night than in a tree?" He asks a bit mockingly, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "And to answer your question, yes, I am out for a stretch. Wandering the forest at night isn't new for me," he admits readily, seeing no harm in relaying the information to the faerie woman.

Before he manages to ask another question, the girl pops to a standing position and begins to make her way farther into the forest. Andras should have let her walk away, should have allowed that conversation to be their last. Yet, the thought of the girl, a faerie girl spending the night alone here didn't quite sit well with him. Frowning at her back, he hesitates for only a moment before he casually prowls after her, overtaking her quickly with his gracefully long legs. "My dealings with Dark Hunters aren't terribly exciting, they don't bother myself or my court," he casts a sly smile down at her, not particularly caring if she wanted company or not.

As they walk for a moment in silence, his hazel eyes narrow as he glimpses the girl's pale face in the moonlight, "You know, I have a safe haven," he starts, glancing through the dark shadows, allowing his ears to strain for any movement in the trees, "It's for the members of my court. Each and every one of them have their own quarters and as much privacy as they want," he shrugs, "I would like to extend that to you, only those that I approve are allowed to enter. Whether you accept or not will be your decision," Andras comments pausing mid stride to stop next to the woman, "It beats spending the night in a tree and being constantly on the run," he states, a wry smile twisting his midnight lips.
