South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

if these wings could fly for the rest of our lives
It hadn't occurred to Abigail that her newfound companion might not want her company. In fact, the young woman was so blissfully ignorant of his existence altogether the moment she had landed upon his back with a soft thud. It was that resounding roar that had been the first thing to catch her attention, those ears standing erect upon her auburn head as if listening for that source - a source should could place as rather close. Hey....wait a minute....AHHHHH! The self declared snow she stood upon began to rumble and quake beneath her, sending the little animal tucking and rolling and tumbling and falling and thud - she was like an upside down armadillo! Or something. For a moment, those hazel eyes simply stared up at the sky as if she couldn't quite comprehend exactly what had occurred. After all, the last thing she knew was that a sudden avalanche in the middle of the forest in AUTUMN had sent her falling! This didn't add up one bit! Her little legs flailed before the girl turned, quickly righting herself with a small bounce that almost seemed to say 'TADA'! Now to find that -- oh, hello there! She certainly didn't expect to see a POLAR BEAR in her path! Well that explained some things!

That greeting was near shockingly energetic and yet, Abigail certainly had no reason to fear him. After all, she was like...ninety five percent certain that he was kind of life her - a were! To top it off, he wasn't just any were, he was the same kind of were as her! Sort of. That almost playful chirp left her lips at his presence, the man quite abruptly moving to face him and yet, she was all but excited to present him with that near onslaught of questions. After all, it wasn't every day she met another bear! Much less one who could roar QUITE like that. She attempted to imitate the sound that he had made but moments ago and yet, the loudest noise that those little vocal cords could make near paled in comparison to that gigantic super awesome ROAR. She needed to take roaring lessons from him. Maybe he'd teach her. The girl hardly even noticed the way his mere shadow seemed to dwarf her, her head simply shifting further back to look up at him at each forward step as she chattered on with that same ease. Usually she wasn't this talkative right off the bat but...she was in a good mood today and she hadn't had like any social interaction beyond sitting in a classroom in a boring desk staring at a test. She needed a good talking!

Those hazel eyes watched as he moved closer towards her, his face but mere inches from hers as the man finally spoke and yet, the warmth of his breath hardly seemed to phase the girl in the slightest. "Really? Why? I thought you eat seals? Don't you eat seals?" She was rather certain that she wasn't enough to fill that belly. Besides, wouldn't that be like....cannibalism? In like every aspect? Yup! She was pretty sure she was safe. That jab at her climbing capabilities, however, brought a huff to the girl's lips, the woman entirely indignant of that...insult....was it an insult? "Of course I'm good at climbing! I could climb you! Wanna see?" She inquired, raising up on her back legs so she could place her front paws upon that lowered head. She could totally climb him! She could even ride him! How AWESOME WOULD THAT BE?! Her little tail begin to flop from side to side in a fashion that almost mimicked a very slow dog's tail. That very mention of his intentions to eat fish however, easily took the girl away from her thoughts of having a super cool polar bear mount.

She was oblivious to that look of regret upon his features as she inquired if she could come too for this fish feast. After all, how long had it been since she'd had freshly caught fish?! It was like...ages! It'd probably be SO good. She almost didn't expect the man to say yes. Abby kind of got the vibe that he needed some work on his social skills and yet, the moment that singular word entered her thoughts, the girl was unable to help that series of altogether delighted chirps that left her lips - until he insisted upon quietness. Those sounds near immediately halted before the girl nodded quite firmly, her voice almost akin to a whisper within his thoughts. "I can be really really really quiet!" She insisted, altogether certain she was able to perform her role super duper well. He wouldn't even know she was there! She'd be SO quiet, she'd b a ghost! That inquiry of how knowledgeable she was on that fish, however, saw all four paws once again return to the ground. "Hm....I know they taste really really good and when they are out of the water they move like this." Her body got really close to the ground before the young woman began to wiggle in her best display of fish flailing. It only lasted a few moments, however, before the girl continued on those fishy facts. "AND, I know that the fishies migrate right now and that means they JUMP and when they jump you go OM and you catch them." By you, she quite literally meant the man in front of her. After all, Abigail had never gone fishing before, what kind of creature did he think she was?!
