South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

Why was it that she had to be around others capable of running fast...far too fast. First Azrael and now this wayward Fae. Raven swore she wouldn't allow the Dark Hunter to carry her, in her smaller form, and whisk her around the city. She hated it. Despised it. It made her awfully sick. The she-wolf had no idea that the Fae would do the same thing to her. If she would have known, she would have leapt from her arms, and took her chances with her pursuer. Staying on the ground she closed her eyes feeling all her insides squirming around. The ground was still. This brought her comfort as she remained lying there. The Fae's voice seemed muffled. Indeed there would not be a next time. Not even if her life depended upon it. She couldn't do this anymore, being in the arms of a being that was capable of going way too fast. Just a few more minutes lying down on the ground like this and she would go back to being all right. As the silence between them grew and her insides began to still that was when the peculiar colored she-wolf brought herself up upon her paws. That innocent question about her power was met with a gentle shake of her head. Gently her voice pressed into the woman's mind as she explained in a friendly manner.

"No, all supernatural creatures have a different power. One of mine happens to be telepathy, which is how I'm communicating with you. One of my other powers is to make my wolf form small or large, see?"

It didn't take much effort, but the normal sized wolf was changing size once again. This time the creature was growing upwards, the crack and snap of her bones shifting into its new place, showing the Fae just what other size she could become. Raven was now a bit larger than a grizzly bear. The gigantic wolf looked down upon the Fae. Black lips pulled back to reveal her sharp teeth, giving the girl a harmless wolfish grin, that wave of her large tail was a sign she was not a threat. Gently she would lower her muzzle to brush against the side of the Fae. What is it with Fae's and there need to dissect names? Dorian, the Fae Italian King, had a lot of fun breaking apart her last name telling her the meaning and origin. And now she had this stranger doing the same, but this time, with her first name. Internally she giggled at the mention that her name would imply she was a thief. That particular title belonged to her spotted mate. The male was constantly stealing anything and everything he could get his paws on.

"I do not have black hair, I have brown actually, but perhaps they were thinking of my black fur. I'm not quite sure why my parents named me Raven, but wolves and that particular bird have a symbiotic relationship in the wild."

There was no need to be this size anymore. Without any effort she returned back to her normal size, quite content to sit there before her. She never did get the chance to ask them why they named her as they did. She knew why her middle name was Talbot. That was her Mother's maiden name. Her Mother belonged to the bloodline that claimed they were of the first Weres on this earth. After all the legend of a Talbot being a werewolf was known in book and movies. The question about her scars made the lupine grow still for a moment. She knew they were easy to see, and she knew they were something that simply couldn't be overlooked. Too many times she was accustomed to the way others stared at her be it in her human or wolf form. It had taken year for the young woman to accept the scars as she was. More importantly it took forever for Raven to see that her mate loved her as she was, and didn't notice the scars at all. Raven know much about Navi, and she didn't trust her enough to tell her everything, but she was willing to be honest...even if she was a little vague.

"I'm not from around here. My original pack didn't accept me, so they did what they wished. Anyways, why are you all alone? Why are you in hiding?"

Of course she didn't expect Navi to open herself up and let her know everything. Walking closer to the woman, as she settled herself down again for sleep, the lupine sat down closer to the woman as the Fae nestled into her leaf bed. It wasn't safe to be out here in the woods alone, let alone, sleeping by herself. Concerned she would lift her dial, inhaling deeply, catching any familiar scents to assure that the woman would be safe at least. Though when she left she wasn't sure she would still be. Taking her into the Ark like a stray would be a kindness. But the last time she brought a Fae to the Ark, she had fallen into a relationship with her Alpha. Perhaps she could take the Fae somewhere else. After all she did give that one witch a home. With a shake of her head her tail lazily slapped against the ground in a content manner.

"Not all Weres like to be in packs, but some do. I belong to the pack in the West."
