South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

He had no idea the dangerous game he had just agreed to play with the little blond haired girl. He thought her just an innocent human girl, too stubborn to go back home and too energetic to go to bed. Surely he could tire her out playing with her then bring her back to her worried parents so he would have a clear conscious at the end of the night. The conversation turned morbid as he brought up her parents and she matter of factly told him that she didn't have any, that they died a long time ago. His eyes widened, his gaze averting to his feet. "Wow, that sucks. Sorry to hear that. So...you must have foster parents or something, right? Someone who takes care of you? Surely they'll want you home safe." That made sense. She may be an orphan but she had to have someone taking care of her. She had nice clothes on. She looked well fed. She didn't look homeless. His heart ached for her though. No parents. He hated his dad but at least he had one.

She named someone called Sebastian then, saying he was hers. Taylor smiled warmly at that. She must mean he was her guardian. Maybe an older brother or relative. "Good. Then I'm sure Sebastian will want you home safely some time tonight. What do you say we make that happen? After the game, of course." He coaxed her. He was sure she would just throw a fit if he tried to take her home now so maybe after a little swinging, she would be satisfied enough to go home. At that point they started swinging. He kept his swings more tame, comparing them to hers as they went back and forth. Usually he would be swinging for all its worth but he didn't want to beat a little girl. He could indulge her. But as she soared up high and said to jump, his eyes widened in shock. "Wait, that's too hi-!" His words caught in his throat as she soared off the swing, landing as neatly as any Olympian acrobat in the sand in front of the swing.

He cleared his throat and swallowed before taking his own leap, more curious now of how she was capable of that when surely any other child would have fallen wrong and broke something. He stumbled on landing, grunting as the shock went up his legs and through his backbone. He was starting to get too old for this. But he straightened himself up, offering her a smirk as she gave her name. Anna-Marie. A two-parter. He didn't even think parents named them like that anymore. He crouched down in front of her, holding out his arm all business-like. "I'm Taylor. It's a pleasure to meet you, Anna-Marie. That was a pretty cool trick you just did. How did you learn how to land from a jump that big? You take dance classes or something?" His eyes gleamed playfully.
