South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The touch of his cooler stone flesh had a comforting effect against the raging lava that threatened to swallow them both whole. She had always had to be high alert and ready for violence and challenges at all times, her very existence had relied on besting the next one that wanted her position. In order to protect herself she needed to skilled and poised and honed for anything thrown at her. But what she had found, the higher she climbed the less she had to deal with the lower scrapers who often seemed too busy with each other.

There was never so much as a mourning for those wolves that had fallen, never a second thought. Negan had always found more to replenish his ranks with newly turned. It was dangerous to have so many newly turned within a pack without enough well accustomed to teach them the way. Her world was full of chaos and violence. Sacrosanct was her chance at a life beyond that.

However, her mind did not stray from Tetradore and his top secret plan. He seemed to keep his cards so very close to his chest and Mira only grew increasingly curious as to what he could possibly do. Yet somehow, she did actually trust in the were-panther. His intentions above all the others seemed to well.. good, something she wasn't quite used to.

Then the most mischievous and masculine look sprawled across his face, his emerald eyes near gleaming with his chosen words. The words themselves surprised the she-wolf. She was not a prude to nudity, their kind often forewent clothing, but it was the way that he said it that made her suddenly feel a little hotter and it wasn't caused from the molten either. A small smile tugged at the corner of her lips, shaking her head slightly. "It's all part of the territory, Tettycat.. or should I call you King Tettycat. People seemed to refer to the man as a king after all, the little bit after was a small concoction of her own. Amusement flickers behind her smoldering eyes.

The cave she had retreated to had suddenly been void from her light, shadows, his shadows threaten to devour every ounce of light that her body seemed to try to rival. No longer did that small cave glow that orangey red flow even though it still very much existed underneath the suffocating midnight veil. The lava seemed to press against the power, seemed to test its limitation against the inky black shroud that encased them. She couldn't see anything, it was all swallowed in darkness. The only thing that she could feel was the steady and strong presence of solid Tetradore's form. Her trust had been tested in these moments where she was blinded without a clue to what the were-cat had planned. Yet she didn't possess fear in her and chose to truly trust him. But it didn't stop the question to form from her. "Where are..." We going never quite made it from her lips as she gasped suddenly probably sounding more like a choked yip, the air all but stolen from her.

The somewhat familiar tug of teleportation encased her but she was not prepared for the falling, she remembered it made her dizzy last time. But the falling, this was entirely new. She glowed like fiery beacon of fire, a comet falling from the vast expanse of space, her limbs flailing as if trying to grasp at something to stop her fall. She hadn't seen the water below, blinded by the darkness and her own lava. It happened so quick, a fraction of time before the embrace of water saved their fall. With a forceful splash, the cool water reacted instantly to her lava, trying to combat that heat. The lava that consumed her skin had been forced into a charred black rock. But for how long? Her paws touch the sandy bottom to push off. Once she made it to the surface she made a sound that almost sounded like a sneeze, gasping a breath to allow the breeze to fill her aching lungs. It didn't take long to know they were far away from the forest she set ablaze.

Her skin sizzled as her skin hardened from the water. "I thought cats don't like water." She spoke, as the pulse of glowing golden eyes watched as the black slinking feline slip out of the water, it dripping off of his sleek form. His wet slick fur acted like a black mirror, reflecting the pale light of the moon. He was an impressive creature, willing to throw himself in the heart of danger that could devour him whole. He was fearless and resilient in this moment. She watched him, the very sight an image she would not forget soon.

However, that moment had soon retreated back as that inevitable question had surfaced. Of course, it was catalyst of this disaster in the first place. It was probably enough to make the man that had saved her from a hoard of fearful human, was probably enough to make him regret his decision to do so. How had she gotten tangled up in this mess. It would have been easier being a nameless face in a nameless location. Now she had to live with the shame that she was forced to her knees, to take a deal from that ghostly stallion, Frost. She wasn't sure who was truly the problem, Frost or Negan. Or perhaps it was both. Her passed alpha refusing to let her simply leave, or perhaps it was Frost preying upon her lack of options and vulnerability.

For a moment she was quiet, contemplating her own words."It was my old pack, the leader has been looking for me, which I already suspected.. He found out I was in Sacrosanct and hired Frost to hunt me down and bring me back to him. I don't know how the little shit even knows him. Business or who the hell knows. I shouldn't be surprised." Those golden eyes peered at him as she moved toward the exit of the water, she wasn't going to cower. She needed to own up to her own decisions, after all she should have never made that deal. But she had to make it stop, the lava was consuming her or so she thought. Did powers always rise in the most inconvenient of times?

Well she had to spit it out and face that emerald stare. She stole a breath before continuing. "I was out in the forest, going for run when Frost found me. He started using his powers against me, to freeze me, knock me out or kill me. Who knows what he would have done, but that was when my own powers had awoken and consumed me. He claimed it was him. But I was able to keep him away, at least." Her lips quirked into a smirk before it was quickly chased back. "He told me he could make it all stop if I do him a favour. He would tell Negan, I was dead or simply not here.. He said he wouldn't stop the heat that consumed me.. Not unless I agreed to his deal." She was out of the water now, the water hissing from her cooling from the charred volcanic rock flesh. It was oddly smooth, the water had somehow smoothed out the lava. Steam formed off of her against the cool air as the heat from within her burned off some of the water.

"Tetradore. I was weak. A fool to agree to terms I don't even know what I will have to do." She growled, avoiding his eyes. "I don't trust him. Either of them." She cursed, anger pressing against her along with the guilt that she agreed to terms that made her a liability to him and her pack. "I won't be a pawn.. She used that anger as courage to peer at those eyes she was sure would condemn her.
