South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

i used to rule the world

seas would rise when i gave the word

The Macedonian man could hardly help that dubious look upon his features at the mention of the woman's occupation, much less her ignorance upon the supernaturals of the world. Did the worldwide medical boards not pass through new courses to cover the unique bodies of the supernatural races in order to be able to provide them too with healthcare? Or had they only taken to fretting over the human race as so many did. Perhaps he was being too compassionate to consider the health needs of those whom his organization sought to curb and yet, was his concern not entirely legitimized with the were-species held a disease capable of bringing others to its ranks by the improper handling of their blood? It was yet another matter he would have to bring up to the core council of the Hunters in Italy, though of late a laundry list of affairs he would near demand tending to seemed to be growing. Frankly, he was certain they preferred the Dark Hunter disinterested in that supernatural aspect of the world. That glimpse of embarrassment across her features only caused that frown on his own to deepen and yet it was that mumbled mention of her residency that brought a sigh to his lips. "That explains it." He responded almost flatly.

He hardly meant to be so short with the young woman, though Alexander was rarely a pleasant fellow to be around. Age had certainly made him far more jaded and restless after the ambitions of his youth had been stolen and barred from him. That sudden inquiry of his own well being, however, slowly caused those blue-green eyes to turn towards the woman with a small glimpse of surprise. She was continually passionate, this one, the call of a doctor served her well. "No." He uttered only for that soft sigh to leave his lips. "Vampires have poisons unique to them...this one does not hurt, it merely...brings on paralysis in mortals." His own limbs felt altogether heavy in that moment and yet, he was fairly confident he would be spared the complete onslaught of that venom. He could already feel his system fighting back, that incessant itching of that wound on his neck informing him well of such. That altogether blunt statement of his appearance caused his gaze to turn towards her in an altogether sardonic fashion. "I'm sorry, you haven't caught me on my best of days, princess." He uttered and yet, Alexander hardly was vicious by any means. The man more akin to wit and sarcasm than any true ferocity, particularly when he certainly owed her, to some extent.

He watched as she abruptly stood, his eyebrows furrowing ever so slightly at that tremble he could see in her legs. He tried to move to help her, truly, and yet his effort resulted in little more than a small raise of his hand. That laughter only increased the frown on his lips, his head shook from side to side ever so slightly. "Please be careful...you need a glass of water, something to eat and time to rest." In this, it seemed, Alexander was far more willing to take up the woman's role of designated caretaker, even if he was fairly certain he was presently confined to the sofa. He hardly expected that blanket that was tossed upon him, the man merely looking down at that warm blanket only for his companion to resettle at his side. Had she gotten up...to get him a blanket? That inquiry of what he was, however, caused his attention to sluggishly turn towards her. "I figured that." He commented on her lack of supernatural knowledge. "We are....I suppose the easiest comparison would be that we are like the police of the supernatural world...with a lot less red tape." After all, it wasn't often that they came under fire for the murder of those other races. Most individuals were too concerned about their own life or too afraid of them to murmur much of a word of protest. It simply was as it has always been. Even so, his eyes fell upon her with a vague hint of...compassion. "I fear you have a lot to learn ahead of you."
