South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

That hunger had begun to claw at his senses, his saliva laced with that oh so sweet poison in anticipation. Those usually bright eyes had turned to an almost impenetrable navy hue, clearly giving away the vampire's incessant desire for blood. Hunting had become....increasingly difficult of late. With his upcoming marriage to the King of Italy printed on near every tabloid, the eyes of the world had settled heavily upon the Englishman. Those usual bars and dance club had become almost impossible to navigate, what with so many easily recognizing him. It wouldn't do, after all, for any sort of ill press to leak so close to joining that royal family. It was that very fear that had prompted Sebastian to linger within the confines of that lavish mansion of late, those usual hunting trips out had been put off for too long and his fiance could only safely satisfy those desires to a certain point - one that quite near ran its course. It was that very need for that life-giving substance that had pushed him out on the dark streets of Sacrosanct and yet, tonight had certainly been less fruitful then he had hoped.

It was the cold, he was certain, that kept so many indoors. So few simply wandered the streets alone at night this time of year and yet, it was those very lonely souls that Sebastian had so intended to target. A singular individual on their own was far easier to control than a group, they would be easier to manipulate, easier to coax into sharing that blood. Now he just had to find someone. He couldn't go back without indulging that craving, his own staff had already contributed enough to his needs. A soft breath left his air as Sebastian reached up to run his fingers through those brunette locks hair. His lips pressed together in consideration, the vampire entirely displeased at the situation he found himself in. Even so, he continued down that sidewalk, the man moving ever closer towards the park in hopes that someone would out exploring those manicured pathways. It was a feeble hope, he was sure, and yet Sebastian had every desire to be tucked back behind those protective walls long before the sun rose. The last thing he had anticipated, however, was to find a familiar face emerging from that gated entrance that he so intended to stalk - much less to find someone mortal within Arlo's company. This could certainly be a beneficial twist of fate.

Sebastian was well aware the vampire would smell him long before Arlo saw him. After all, his species was the fellow vampire's favorite flavor. It hardly worried him in the slightest, however, the man instead focused upon the fellow at Arlo's side. Perhaps, the Englishman might be able to convince Arlo to allow him to nibble at his companion, in exchange, of course, for a taste of his own blood. It seemed a fair trade, all he had to hope was that the fellow vampire was not too possessive over his companion. For now, however, he kept such thoughts to himself, the man instead presenting the pair with an almost charming simper upon his features. "Good evening, Arlo. I didn't expect to see you here." He commented, that British lit altogether clear in his voice. Those navy eyes slowly shifted toward the man at Arlo's side, his gaze lingering in an almost inquisitive fashion. "I don't believe we've had the pleasure of meeting," Sebastian stated, holding out a singular hand towards this newfound stranger. Though he presently kept that natural affinity of attraction at bay, the Englishman was altogether attentive to how his friend might so react to his presence - that alone would certainly tell him much of his relationship with his companion. After all, he had seen how tense Arlo had gotten with his proximity to Abigail. Was this one worth the appearance of those vampire instincts?
