South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

[Thanks for the warm welcome! It's really nice to meet you two. After putting it off for years I had to finally give in CB's luring lol]

Belize had afforded him a good year of both heaven and hell, the latter seemed to be prominent in his memories though. All things considered... it had been paradise. Aquamarine waters and porcelain sands... And one of those tourists' dream houses set upon the sands with modern what walls and terra-cotta shingles for a roof. It was modern with clean lines and abrupt angles with a completely open floorplan that afforded an ocean view in three of four directions. Paradise it had been yes... but where witches are he found more trouble then it was worth. And when one gets tangled up with a woman... a little heartbreak... and some Voodoo. Well life gets miserable really fast. And he danced that dance for too long for his own sanity. He was gone, and though his instincts both primal and human would forever call him home as if he had never left it at all... he didn't feel like dealing with family and the stress that brings on. No... there was too much world left out there for him, too much adventure yet to taste.

It had felt good, laying strewn here on the coastline without much of a care in the world. It had allowed the Were to doze on and off for hours longer than he had needed to. His acute sense of hearing only half paying any mind to anything save the lapping surf and chattering gulls as they circled above. How very blue the sky had become... he had only just realized as he strained to focus against the fully matured sun creeping up into the sky. It had lost its façade of hued pigmentation and simply burned brazen now against his face. Miniscule crystals of sand clung to the mahogany strands that stuck against his pale skin. He brought himself forward to rest on his elbows as his glacial eyes trailed out across open water and the array of small fishing boats that had drifted in for the morning catch. For a moment he could hear their calls as they cast off their nets and chuckled amongst each other in deep guttural tones while they set their poles and hooked their bait. Their thick dark skin almost callous and rough, weathered and worn from the long hours at sea. Perhaps a local fish market waited even now for their catch ... it made his mind wander to the potential of fresh shrimp and even lobster...

Brilliant ruby red rock lobster, almost sweet on his tongue as he reminisced, that was the last thing dancing on the wolf's mind before his body was suddenly struck by a wayward woman clad in tight twisted curls and a scent that told him they were far more similar the he would have expected. They seemed to crumble together for a moment, tangling amongst one another in a flail of arms and legs and sand. Just as quickly though the female was to her feet, looking about as surprised as he was yet she outreached her hand. Quin was still gathering his wits about him as he accepted the gesture and pulled himself to his feet. But no sooner did he both hear and smell the scent of the large cat as he traversed the dune and sauntered around them, his gaze far less welcoming than the woman who had apologized and helped him up.

"Heh... hey it's no big deal... its not every morning a beautiful woman practically dives into my lap... "

... There have been those days though... his mind quipped but thought better of saying allowed. Not to mention the leopard already looked as though he might make a meal of the wolf if he should say something too far out of line. He had already gotten a sense of possession dripping from him, a clear declaration of ownership one might say. His eyes shot towards the blond-haired woman and back to the cat just as he began to change and allow his human flesh to crawl back over his bones. He wasn't exactly sure if this was luck or doom chasing him down. How did he manage to happen upon two Weres so quickly in this new city? And what did that say to the state of chaos to this place? He shifted, hands reaching down to brush away the layers of sediment build up on his shorts and on his sides just as the man reached out to grasp a single lock of his hair, as if inspecting it. His face could not hold back the confusion this caused and he lightly chuckled stepping back half a foot from his reach. Yet as he raised his hand and nearly his voice to question, the other had pulled away too, his eyes lingering not on him but the ground as he spoke in broken syllables.

"Um...yes well..."

But he was muttering again... and he couldn't help but send a questioning glance to the woman standing at this fellow's side. "Birdie is it... well I had assumed as much man... I mean don't worry, she ran into me after all." He grinned to one side, his words light and joking as he looked between them and the somewhat awkward threesome.

"Just soaking up some moon, then some sun, now some air... hey it's a public beach, right? Don't mind me, I'm new around here and just wandering through, looking for a place to land you know? I haven't even been in the city 48 hours yet. My name's Tarquin."

His thick Scottish accent hinted only at curiosity for the time being. No reason to upset the natural order of things just yet. Not until he had a better grasp on the inner workings of the city and those that dwelled there. He had plenty of time to make enemies, he was in no rush this bright morning.
