South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Tetradore's yowling complaint at Nadya's words see a purr of satisfaction rumble from within the deep chest of the golden leopard as he rolls once more, rubbing back and spine against the earth, seeming content to remain reclined amongst the dirt and earth until he is told to do otherwise. So rarely is the young man so very relaxed, fifteen years of relentless searching allowing for precious few moments to simply bask and yet, now, it would seem life is willing to offer him a moment or so, slight as it may be, to simply enjoy this company, soothing that animalistic need to be with others he holds some fathom of respect for and indeed is content to remain around. It is a pleasing thing, to feel another two minds with his own. Naddy's words in response to his own see the golden eyed cat angle his head back towards her with clear curiosity, head tilting slightly to one side in some midly amusing look of infant intrigued before his eyes narrow ever so slightly in a gesture so common to his human form, indicating indeed that some tendril of thought has managed to take hold within the dark confines of what remains of his human mind. Cannot kill humans? Her words are met with a snort, tail flicking against the dirt in a dismissive gesture offered towards the little female member of their panther parade.

Humans can.....be killed.....snap spine.....they die. Humans are.....weeeeak.

The final word is drawn out in a hiss of sorts, sliding from his mind to her own, failing to understand indeed that her words had not been entirely as he has perceived them, not meant as an open-ended question of sorts and yet he answers her honestly all the same, believing indeed that she may have been unaware of how exactly to kill one. Oblivious to the knowledge that he has admitted, in a certain sense, to murder of something other than animal prey. Hunger however, will drive any creature to extremes, nor will Tobias allow himself to be.....harassed by a weaker species. He will not mind what does not mind him in turn, yet the powerful, dominant male will not allow agitating, weaker beings to hamper him and as such, more then once, he has seen fit to rid himself of them. To his mind such things are necessary, the weak do not survive and if he is capable of killing them, then indeed- they are weak. He is distracted readily from these thoughts by Tetradore's own answer, his murmured reply seeing those dark eyes turn back to his chosen leader as the Panther stands in some effort to spare himself his companions continued rubbing attempts. The man's answer however, is met with little more then a blank stare from the younger male, unable to perceive what such words mean and as such he sees no need to answer. Words, truthfully, are not Tobias' strong suit, perhaps one of the many reasons he so prefers his animal skin. He is not expected to communicate, to fumble and trip and struggle as others offer the piteous looks he so loathes. Naddy's sudden leap and collision with the black panther sees his own form roll, lifting back to his own feet as he bats at her shoulder, seeking to engage himself in this playful moment, springing upon his hind legs in a truly rare display of even this modicum of affection for another living being before they are both commanded to hush, the boy falling silent in this instant.

He moves to come to attention beside the other male, superior to the Panther in height, yet lacking some of his bulk in these moments as his own senses extend, searching for this intruder before Tetra's words see him rush from the other man's side in a silent blur, melting into the darkness of the forests embrace, his supernatural ability to perceive that which seeks to hide readily wrapping and coiling in a manner near serpentine about the unfortunate female snow leopard that hides from them. He is a hunter as no other, no creature nor object upon this earth capable of hiding from him in this regard and indeed he takes ready delight in having a job, a task, a purpose. The female is already within his ability to sense, path adjusting suddenly as his paws become utterly silent, stalking her within the darkness as he comes wide, senses guiding each step, instinct directing in these moments as he crouches low and lower still until he slides upon the earth. It is female, this he knows, female and healthy, for the ability to sense weakness is yet another of talents, yet this does not dissuade him as he comes from behind the crouching snow leopard.

Kitty, Kitty. I found you.

A rumbling growl peels from his jaws as he lunges, a call of sorts to his companions to alert them that he has found what they seek, aiming to collide with the female as he does, jaws seeking to snatch her scruff, to sink his teeth into this thick part of her flesh and fur before proceeding to attempt to drag her kicking and screaming from the bushes, superior size and weight utilised in an effort to force such a gesture upon her, head shaking as if he shakes a piece of prey in an effort to quieten her down. Should his teeth miss, he will merely chase her out and into the open for his Alpha to decide her fate. Perhaps this is her territory, yet she is alone and outnumbered, she is not pack and as such he will not treat her as such without reason too. He delights in that scent of her fear, feeds upon it, becoming entirely predatory in these moments as he moves to subdue her and drag her out. He never did like females, nor is he a gentle creature, displeased at having his hunt further delayed.

madness, as you know, is like gravity: all it takes is a little push
