South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Wake up to your dreams
And watch them come true

Another body entering the battlefield didn't disrail Nadya in the least. If she could keep track of two toddlers then she could keep track of one hunter. Her methods were quite obviously different than the bulky bear's as he charged headlong at the hunter without much tact in her opinion. The graceful feline teetered at the edge of the scuffle, not willing to risk running into a cloud that she couldn't see through. There wasn't much strategy entering into something where the odds weren't in her favor.

When the smoke cleared and the new danger presented itself, Nadya was quick to lash out with her pain manipulation. It was one of her most effective and practiced, hardly any effort at all to call upon it and unleash it on the man. There was satisfaction in her amber gaze as she watched the hunter drop his weapon and crumple to the ground in agony. Only then did her words reach back out to the bear questioning him on if he knew the hunter. The bear spoke of a past with perhaps not this man but his intentions. This was not her kill to make and her ability withdrew though the echo of the pain would remain leaving the hunter incapacitated. The panther watched with muted intrigue as the bear took over, one massive paw crushing at the hunter's chest while he let out quite a peculiar roar. She didn't know much about polar bears but easily figured that his roar was linked to whatever affinity he had as it seemed to rupture the man from within. It was similar to her own pain affinity though used another...louder...means. She had to admit it was no less effective.

The panther's attention shifted from the lifeless body to the animal who had just ended its time here on earth. Even as the bear approached her she did not move, she was not one to back away nowadays. Her gaze met his evenly, considering his words which were laced with confusion and distrust. "I didn't know he was hunting you but that doesn't change the fact that he was a hunter...plain and simple. What's to say that he wouldn't have decided to hunt me and mine? Even if I had never intercepted he was still a threat." The fact that he had been the target had simply been a variable and wouldn't have dissuaded her.

Nadya's gaze flickered to their environment. She hadn't been in this area before and it was honestly quite nice, tucked back and open. If it hadn't been for the hunter it would probably make for a lovely resting place. "Name's Nadya by the way; don't suppose you have one?" It was back to her feisty tongue as she casually turned away from the white beast and beelined it straight for the calm waters to investigate with her tail swaying behind her. "Got any fish in there?"
