South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

It was slightly comforting standing along the bank of the pond, the cool night a welcoming change in climate. The summer was far too hot to her liking and when there was a cool breeze during the night, and the temperature beginning to change like now, it could only mean one thing. Her pink lips twitched, eyes remained closed, as she heard the satisfying soft rumble of thunder in the distance. Lifting her head some, inhaling the cool air, the scent of rain was on it as she allowed the winds to unfurl and tousle her long mane. Golden-brown curly locks flowed above her neck, gently cascading those soft curls down her back, exposing a small bit of her nape. That particular area just one of the few that remained in pristine condition amongst her pale flesh. Even though the oncoming storm was creeping up slowly through the Park, the full moon remained still seen the dark clouds unable to cover it entirely. The slowly fading beams of Lady Luna continued to illuminate her pale flesh amongst the dark backdrop around her, however, the four marks that permanently disfigured her face seemed to be enhanced thanks once more to the moon and its silver rays.

Although she seemed at peace on the outside, inside she could feel her troubled mind begin to bring back those haunted memories. The agony, the fear, the burden of guilt overwhelming her. Bits and pieces of her memories flooded her mind, remembering the feeling of loss that void she felt within her only increased the knowing and agony of solitude she had grown used to. It was unbearable, for any Were of any kind to roam without a sense of belonging, and over the years that ache would only continue to increase. Sadden blue-grey eyes reopened when she felt a pair of eyes on her, but it was the sound of another approaching that caused her to turn around slightly. Puzzled and alarmed her head would tilt sideways, pulling some of her locks out from her eyes, as his easy foreign voice was heard. Always mistrust of anyone, especially males, she would stand still, her depressed gaze locked on his figure searching for any sign of a threat. A gentle voice politely answered his call, her nervousness of his presence only increased, but it could not be heard in her tone.

"It is nice, kind of peaceful too."

There were reasons why she needed to get away from Tobi and Alexis. A loner was just that, alone, and she had to remind herself that she would always be in this position. Always vulnerable, never safe, and lately she was growing comfortable far too much than she ever should. It was torture to force herself to relive those memories, but it reminded her that she was to carry on the burden and guilt, to never be among others for too long. Beaten into her mind, by her own kind, she was forbidden to be amongst others and to suffer agonizing solitude. But over time she had felt what it was like to be close to another, slowly some sort of invisible thread was coiling itself around her feline friend, enough to cause unknown emotions to arise. Being as he was the first creature to tolerate her presence, to allow close proximity was enough to taken down a few barriers her pack had forced her to make. Yet tonight, she could not allow herself to be close again, the need to remind herself that she was a loner was something she needed to do. Though it would seem someone else wished to teach her that perhaps, she shouldn't accept this. Blue-grey eyes shifted towards the familiar towering frame of her feline deviant, standing behind the Vampire. Quietly she watched taking note that his innocent façade was incapable of hiding his true intentions. As he threatened and toyed with the Vampire a frown would creep on her young mauled features. Yet as he ordered the Vampire to...take off...a tired sigh left her lips as she voiced out her opinion, her tone carried some sort of annoyance as well.

"Tobi, you didn't have to be mean to him."

As the feline-demonic beast approached her she would take a timid step backwards. It was difficult with the position that she was in. Time and time again he reminded her that she was somehow his. The animistic side of her could not, and would not allow it or accept it. He could say whatever he wished, but she had no need to follow what he wanted. Most of the time she did as he asked or wanted simply because she didn't mind. Unable to ask for help, only demanding others do something for him, she would do as he wanted understanding this was his subtle way or asking for aide. Though tonight she seemed tired of reminding him that she did not belong to him. Quietly she murmured her response.

"I'm a loner Tobi, I don't have to follow your orders...as for being around other men, he just arrived...why do you want me at your home?"

As Tobi got closer she would step to his side. As she crossed her arms she wished to feel the familiar comfortable fabric of one of her old hoodies, but tonight she was reminded with the touch of only her scarred skin that she was not wearing it. Instead she had chosen to take Nadya's advice and taste on clothes for a change. As the storm began to grow lightning flashed above the trio, her eyes shifted from Tobi towards the Vampire, offering him a kind smile. It should be noted that beforehand she had been nervous to be in the Vampire's presence. However, with Tobi beside her she seemed a bit calmer than before. Taking a few tentative steps towards the Vampire, feeling a bit safe with Tobi now around, she offered the man a kind smile.

"I'm sorry Sir, this is my friend...he is very...protective...are you one of Risque's vampires?"

I guess, the mouse is walking in two different cats' traps.
