South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Did the dog ever feel guilt for the things that he did? Was there ever some degree, some minute part of him that felt disdain towards the act of stealing something treasured or precious in the eyes of another just so that he could make a few extra bucks in cash at the nearest pawn shop that might just pay for a few days worth of warmed meals? The answer to such questions in search for some fragment of a conscience with the ever hopeful intent on uncovering that deeply buried and certainly dormant human part of him was perhaps both surprising and not to those that might pose the question to him in the first place. No, there was no guilt for what he took and made meager profits from. There was no remorse to be found in the man as he committed those petty crimes again and again, rising to the challenge each time as he dared to increase those risk levels as the value of certain items like jewelry and such trinkets made of precious stone and metal that were usually able to fetch a much more handsome price than the miscellaneous items like unattended bikes and whatnot were able to be weighed and measured at. But hey, the were was hardly ever picky at what opportunities just so happened to present themselves. Twenty bucks was better than nothing, after all. Sure, it wasn't enough to really make much of a living off of, but Levi considered himself to be doing just fine for the lifestyle preferences that he rather enjoyed. Hell, if finding some small mini mart or magazine stand to hire him for ten or fifteen hours didn't work out and he ended up getting kicked out of his apartment in a short two month's time, then that would be just fine for him as well. He was hardly opposed to the idea of allowing himself the freedoms of living more as the exotic canine he was, the animals in him far from protesting the idea of calling some abandoned burrow on the outskirts of the city his home until he could try again at living like the human he could easily pass for most times. It definitely wouldn't be the first time and he was sure that it wouldn't be the last time he got evicted for the inability to pay his rent or utilities. Perhaps he should see about doing odd jobs for the apartment owner if all else fails. So long as it wasn't long hours, the were would probably consider such a proposition if he could manipulate the management skillfully enough - not that he wouldn't enjoy the mere challenge of such an idea, either.

Levi always took a great deal of pleasure in pushing the boundaries laid out in plain sight for him, marked in bright florescent lights not to cross or trifle with. And oh, how he so reveled in the nearly blatant dare such lines would offer him. How he would test those limits simply to see if they were as firmly set as those who'd put them there would give the impression of. And perhaps that was why it was that he found wicked delight in the challenge so many females posed him, more often than not deciding to play that "hard to get" part with flying colors. He so loved a woman with fire in her eyes and a fury to match it. Was it not the more forbidden fruits that were the sweetest - sinfully so? Besides, a great hunter was hardly ever content to settle himself with rabbits, though Levi would certainly not turn away a pretty face with already weakened inhibitions. Some days, he simply enjoyed letting a lovely creature meander into his arms with little to no effort on his part, allowing for that debonair smile and all in all devilishly handsome appearance to do the work on its own. Sure, he's struck out his fair share of times, even ending up with a black eye or bloody face on occasion when the dog found himself barking up the wrong tree usually already taken by another male, but even that factor was hardly much of a deterrent for the were. Bar brawls and fist fights to impress were likely on behalf of the testosterone that so clearly coursed through his veins, maybe even only ever encouraged by the canine side of the man when it came to seeing if he might be able to upset the hierarchy most other males tended to respect. Maybe one day this defiance and open willingness to engage in a fight would see him in the worst shape of his life - if not simply dead in some alleyway eventually - but even the possibility of having such a run-in with someone more than capable of putting a silver bullet in the were was still not enough. What he lacked in size and sheer power, the dog certainly made up for in resourcefulness and resilience, so he didn't bother himself with the consequences of those sometimes poorly made decisions. He would much rather go down with adrenaline racing through his veins than in some mundane state of ritualistic complacency living like everyone else. It wasn't like the were had anything to lose, and the chances that anyone out there in this world would miss him were slim to none. He didn't have a mate and children to leave behind, let alone some bright and promising future as something more than the common thief that he was now. So, the way he saw things, he would live the life he enjoyed even if it would one day be the end of him. Besides, they did always say that one should die doing what they enjoyed.

The way she eyes him warily is far from something he was unfamiliar with, and in all honesty, he came across this very same note of suspicion and pushback with just about every gorgeous female the dog had the delightful luck or coming across. He'd already had his fun chasing after a feisty witch with words that cut like a blade made me dry eyes running figuratively against his skin. And how... exciting of an experience she had been, the dark brunette who had resisted him as a fair number of women were capable of doing. As overly confident - if not cocky - as the dog was, he knew that he would not manage to waver every beautiful creature he found. Even the most precise and voracious of predators missed their mark every now and again. It was all a matter of odds, skill, and often sheer luck. And Levi was more than smart enough to understand that there would be instances where he simply wouldn't win, though it did nothing to sway that outrageous level of confidence. For every handful of nights where he would return in an often drunken stupor to wherever it was that he was calling home for the time being, there was another satisfying handful of evenings where he would win over the most stunning as well as stubborn woman in the bar. Yes, some of these women might have willingly allowed for his charms to convince them the rest of the way to let loose and take to the sheets with the man, but it certainly wasn't just the desperate females he could win. There had been women much like the she-wolf before him, determined to say and do whatever it might take for him to stop pestering only for him to find their metaphorical sweet spot and conquer the chase, leaving the next morning with devious pride as he left that familiar note on the pillow beside the still sleeping company he'd shared those throes of passion with, thanking them for the night before. It has always been the most difficult and willful of gorgeous women he'd been able to win that were among some of his favorite moments, their names a fleeting whisper in the back of his mind from time to time. And if they never gave him their name? Well, then he would just give them a pet name and settle for that. It wasn't as though he was looking for a particular female that he might want to have more than a one-night stand with. Where would the fun be in having only one pretty thing to give his feverish yet feverish feelings to, when there was more than plenty of the dog to go around?

Emerald eyes roll within her pretty face, another sentiment Levi was very much familiar with. Just like that, he can see her willingness to muse him dissipate like early morning frost under the sun's warm touch and it only has that doggish grin growing on the canine's face as his pink tongue lolled to the side of his parted jaws."You'd be surprised, though I also doubt you'd believe me if I told you anyway", he says musefully, smoldering gaze lingering over her unusual and certainly eye-catching coat. Gods, if she's as gorgeous human as she is were... He watches the way that her harks press against the back of her head, those lupine body language communicating clearly that she was far from impressed by him, her words followed by a low growl of warning only further emphasizing her lack of amusement as she attempts a jab at him. Had he been human, there would undoubtedly be a wicked smirk upon his features. Instead, he merely gives a small flick of his large and rounded right ear as dark eyes gleam."Oh, come on now, babe. Are you sure you aren't just trying to convince yourself to believe that lie? I promise I won't bite", he replies coolly in return, unfazed by her sharp decline. He was sure that she wasn't really lying, not entirely a way. He'd seen the fleet of curiosity there seconds ago, after all. He lifts a back paw then, balancing his three others to scratch idly at his multicolored and vibrantly marked side, placing it back into it's original place as she asks him just why it was that she should give him her name. He rolls his shoulderblades in what would have been the human equivalent of a shrug at these words of hers."I'm new around these parts, just trying to meet others. That's all", he answers easily, nonchalantly even because at this point the dog hardly expects her to give up what he was looking for. Well, one of those things he was looking for anyway. He wouldn't even be surprised if she gave him a false alias, and it was at this point that the were decides on what he would be calling her until she decided to give him her true name."Enough about me, though. You're far more interesting, I'm sure. Been here long?", he asks then, an even more bold query than the simple formality of names.

Some might wonder if he really thought she might divulge anything even remotely about herself, and in all truthfulness, he expected her not to. But hey, he was up for attempting coercing her into playing this game of chase. He had her scent now, so she was as good as stuck with him.

I Can See You Just Love The Chase. Lucky For You, My Dear, Because That's My Favorite Game.
