South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

South

we built this city on broken glass

It was a curious sort of emotion, especially for a man rarely inclined to consider emotions in any real sense and yet- a distinct sort of disdain for that man whom lingered over Ellie had readily settled within himself. The young hunter woman was hardly a member of his pack or indeed a being in which he held any true closeness and yet that very innocence within her prompted that protectiveness from himself- though whether it was that animalistic part of him or indeed that human side that seemed to ensnare those feelings he hardly knew. Ellie had been intriguing to him from the moment they had met. The girl far preferable to her blonde friend whom lingered within the cafe and Frost had so put within her place, the nature of the equine man a decidedly fickle thing. Yet, where he had so been inclined to assure Beylani knew just where she stood, he had held no such desire to assert that same authority over Ellie. The hunter woman was almost....sweet. Her very nature appealing to him along with her clear desire to feed him whenever the moment should arise. Ellie one of the few beings within the entirety of the city Frost found tolerable in any sense. The sight of another man, ones who intentions were less than desirable, causing her any sort of distress was displeasing to him. Frost hardly the sort of creature willing to tolerate displeasure for very long.

The stallion stepped easily from that path then and onto the grass that lined the majority of that park like a carpet of green. Those long, easy strides closing the distance between himself and the pair. That decidedly equine part of himself was almost inclined to consider that this park was a waste of grass. How....delectable it might have been and yet here it was sat on, trampled down and rolled over. A waste of good forage really and yet he so refused to allow those equine instincts to invade him in that moment. Frost rarely inclined to allow that part of himself to show when others lingered nearby to view it. After all, it would hardly do to have the feared Alpha of the South caught nibbling on clover and dandelion. His lean form easily approached the pair then, a smile easily guided to his lips as he uttered those simple words of greeting to Ellie as if he uttered them every day, his form leaning down in the same smooth motion to press his lips to the warmth of her cheek. A part of him entirely inclined to note the smoothness off her skin before he lent away to allow that strange violet gaze to linger on the man whom was the very cause off his displeasure. Frost, for all he was and indeed for all he was capable off was rarely a man inclined to utilise any of that power unless truly required. The stallion far more inclined to make his position known wordlessly.

That simper upon his lips abruptly dropped to present his adversary with that near blank, emotionless facade he had near perfected offering the world a large. Frost more then inclined to allow that moment to become awkward and that silence to deepen until the other man readily begun to shift in discomfort. Whatever falsified confidence this fool of a man had managed to conjure up was already beginning to waver, insecurity tugging at the threads of his resolve. His very body language screamed off it. His words fumbling for some pitiful excuse. Making sure she was alright? Hmm. That was intriguing. Yet Frost hardly offered any words nor made any effort to alleviate that tensions that mounted with every passing moment. Ellie, for her part, effortlessly picking up upon his game to insist she was reading while she waited. That unity between them in that moment near effortless and only further destabilising the other man's crumbling fortitude. That near gruff 'whatever' Frost was rewarded with merely coaxing one eye to lift ever so slightly before the fellows hands tucked into his pockets and shuffled away.

That almost impish grin on the young woman's features was hardly missed as Frost allowed that ghost of a simper to touch his own before he turned to face her once more. Ellie sighing softly before insisting she owed him, Frost merely lifting his hand to wave that suggestion away before pausing to glance briefly around- only to abruptly fold his legs beneath himself to sit cross-legged upon the grass and in front of the Hunter woman. Whatever words had so been about to pass his lips were abruptly halted by the sudden presentation of that bag held towards him. Frost eyeing it momentarily before that mention of 'apple cinnamon scones' readily seemed to ensnare his attention. His hand reached forward to delve inside that bag and pluck one of those baked treats from within it. The scent of them decidedly alluring in every way. Frost sniffing at it briefly before biting into it. That taste of apple and cinnamon incredibly sweet upon his tongue, his eyes rising slightly in surprise at that satisfying taste before the stallion proceeded to take another bite.

"Thank you. Did you make these?"

It was a rare thing entirely for the Alpha to be so simply.....relaxed when anywhere other than his home or the cafe. Frost simply not the sort of man inclined to sit cross-legged beneath the trees in the park and enjoy baked treats and yet today he was willing to make an exception of sorts. He hardly anticipated that sudden query on what had brought him to the park in the first place, Frost glancing upward from his treat to eye the young woman once more. Frost a notoriously...private being in every sense and one not at all inclined to idle chatter and yet Ellie was so hardly a threat of any kind, despite her species, Frost seeing little harm in sharing the true intent of his plans here today or indeed making that idle conversation others seemed to enjoy even if it largely...baffled him. The idea of making 'friends' something of a new concept for the equine and yet he could....try, could he not? Those smooth, cool lyrics parting his lips then.

"I've been working for the Mounted Division of the Hunter Council, I'm meeting some other Werehorses here later this afternoon to assess their training level. If they are good enough I will let Alexander assess them himself and he will find Hunters to ride them. If not, I will send them back to Iceland to train again."

Those words were matter-of-fact, Frost perhaps not yet quite having mastered casual conversation in any sense. The stallion falling silent again as he reached to take another bite of that scone with a clear satisfaction. His gaze resting on that book in her hands then.

"What are you reading?"

Books was a topic the icelandic man knew well and one he thoroughly enjoyed even if he so rarely spoke of it. He had taught himself to read all those years ago and indeed, ever since, he had found a certain sort of enjoyment in books- if only for what could be learned from them. His violet gaze lifted to her own expectantly then. Another question seeming to find him.

"Do you work for the Council?"
