South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Anna-Marie Belrose

In an adult ruled world there was a mirage of responses Anna had heard before when she had invited any of them to play, male or female. The range was confusion to amusement in their refusals, very rarely did she ever have one of them accept. It was probably best anyways as early on their acceptances ended up very badly on their end when they discovered she was a vampire, either by winning and her getting angry or losing and Anna collecting her "prize". It was just best, safer, to politely decline with a promise of later or next time. So Anna was relatively surprised by the man accepting her offer and wedging himself in the swing beside her.

Of course there were plenty of options of games that children chose to play from hide-n-seek, hopscotch, to simple imaginary playing in the sand. However, Anna's desire for play, a child vampire, would not be satisfied with just playing in the sand. She wanted a chase, a thrill that only came from the blood lust of a vampire. Anna's crystal gaze slid away from Sebastian to the girl tied to the frame of the swing, regarding her with newfound interest. Her shoes dipped into the sand as she closed the small gap to lean over in front of the girl. "There is a wishing fountain..mile that way," She pointed in the direction towards the heart of Hyde park, "If you make it...you can go home." Anna circled around the girl and began to untie her though paused once she was nearly undone. "If you don't make it...you're ours. We will give you a head start. I will count to 200." With a grin, seemingly satisfied with her 'fair play' she dropped the rope from the girl's wrists. The teenager's eyes were wide, frozen in spot for a moment before Anna's sweet voice started up again, "1..2...3..." The teen scrambled away, her hands wrenching the gag from her mouth as she took off in the direction that Anna had indicated.

Anna's attention returned to Sebastian, clasping her hands in delight in front of her, swaying back and forth on the balls of her feet. "If you catch her you win...if I catch her I win." It was a twisted version of tag, one which she was sure would end in a meal either way. She had never had one of her games end in the preys favor but of course there was always a first for everything. She was obviously quite thrilled to have someone to be playing the game with though. While she waited for Sebastian to accept and join in, her attention kept slipping over to where the girl had run off and now disappeared around the bend in the path. There was a slight wooded area in between the park and the fountain which would be the easiest area to catch the girl. Whether Anna would make it to 200 before taking off after her was a little hard to tell, though truth be told she had never been one to go back on her word
