South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The University places a high focus both upon educating future generations but also on research to help revolutionize the world. we built this city on broken glass

How readily the equine had anticipated some sort of oddity. After all, it was very rare that anything less than an oddity might summon him in the middle of the night and within those stables. A brave oddity at that to dare to linger so close to so many Hunters and yet such considerations remained within the confines off his mind as he strolled up that aisle and between those rows upon rows of empty stalls, his heavy, feathered hooves ringing out against the concrete and echoing within that shadowy dark. Frost taking little care to conceal his presence, after all, why bother? Whoever had summoned him so surely knew he was coming all the same and yet- even he was inclined to find some measure off surprise at the decidedly small and grinning dog he was presented with by those doors and within those shafts of moonlight. A golden brown dog. Hmmm. At least that was different, he supposed. Still, the colouring of the creature hardly mattered in the end. It's business here of far more intrigue to the war horse. Especially when this was not the Jackal that guarded Tetradore's Ark. A relative perhaps? His own white ears pricked forward atop his skull, Frost near forced to lower his head to allow him a better look at the otherwise small animal, that thickened forelock parting slightly to reveal those violet eyes beneath as his nostrils flared in turn to drink in the animals scent. His gaze was near level with the other man's own now at that insistence that whatever this fellow wanted it so surely better be worth his time. That jackal near bold enough to meet his own gaze unwaveringly. A rare daring. How intriguing. That very insistence he had come to meet the legend that was Frost however so prompted that ready snort from that stallion. Something near akin to amusement finding his features then as he lifted his head away.

"Obviously."

That singular word was echoed simply and near void off any truly identifiable emotion. Either this man was very clever in his shameless flattery, or a fool, Frost quiet undecided for the moment as he moved to stride past the little creature now and out into that stable yard, that near full moon illuminating his own white pelt with ease as he strode towards those drinking troughs.

"Are you coming or do your small legs find themselves incapable of keeping up?"

Those smooth, cool words were as much a request as they were a veritable challenge. Frost's ears twisted atop his skull all the same to continue to listen as the creature introduces himself. Marcello. His own mind turned upon that name, allowing it to twist and turn within the confines off his thoughts. This was a name he did not know, or in the least, held no immediate recognition off. A new arrival in the city then. The jackal continued to speak then, Frost content to afford him that curtsey off a turned and listening ear as his muzzle dipped into the depths of that cold water. That mention off both his and the Nightshade pack prompting a sideways slide of that violet gaze. Someone- had done their research. Perhaps this Marcello was more inclined towards clever then fool and yet such a thing still remained to be seen. Frost, his thirst satisfied, so lifting his head from that water to face his new companion once more. One eye arching ever so slightly upward in some vague curiosity at the fellows words.

"The powerful packs? We are the only packs- though I am inclined to think you know that already. I am also inclined to think you know a deal more than you ever pretend to know- but that is not necessarily a bad thing."

Not if it was used.....appropriately. Not if it had value. Yet whether or not the man before him had any value remained to be seen in turn. Frost rarely inclined to afford his time to those whom would only waste it in turn. Those smooth, cool words finding that Jackal again then.

"Tell me then, Marcello. Did you come to meet the powerful packs because you plan to join one or because you have some other intention? Chimera and Nightshade have been aligned for some time now, I will not dissuade you from finding place amongst Tetradore's ranks. Though we have...differing views towards leadership."

Just what exactly such a thing might mean remained to be seen. Some faint glimmer of darkened amusement seeming to find that stallions features once more before he continued.

"Tetradore's pack resides in the Ark in the West. It is a fighting arena. A mix of canine and feline alike. His Beta is a lunatic but he seems to manage well enough. My own pack territory is here in the South, part of the forest and towards the Residences. My pack is all women outside myself and has some more....species variation."
