South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.
Home of: The Cavalry

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

WerePet. That word just didn't settle very well with her. It was like an insult...a slur. Just because they had an animal encased inside them, didn't mean they were allowed to be treated like pets. They were human too. Just because owning humans and treating them as slaves was wrong didn't mean it was a universal accepted unspoken law. Raven didn't live under a rock. She knew quite well that their supernatural species were constantly used as pets, but they were used for far worse things too. Near where she lived she heard from others that sometimes they were used as targets, a hunting game for both vampires and Dark Hunters. Blue-grey eyes looked over towards that massive metal facility. Whatever this place was...it wasn't good, it couldn't be. Jumping out of the car she instantly felt that unnerving desire to run away. She couldn't though. Azrael asked for her assistance and she complied willingly, although she was having second thoughts. That inquiry about whether or not they should have code names seemed to make Azrael stop and think. She was right, she knew she was right. His decision on their name seemed simple. Although Fang, really? Slowly she nodded her head in acceptance not thinking she should argue. Her shoulder would brush up against his thigh in a reassuring manner, if not for him then surely for herself, because this was distressing. She could feel that other part of her forcefully wanting to take charge, but only in body and not mind, and Raven obediently permitted. As they walked she noted all the fancy sports car. If they weren't going to such a terrifying looking building she would recommend her mate and Alpha to come here and take a look at the cars...knowing her mate he would want to take one for a spin...and never return it. One black car caught her eye. Her head titled to the side puzzled as to why that particular person felt they were entitled to park illegally. Blinking she noticed some pink piece of paper now underneath the windshield wipers. Shaking her head she looked up at him.

"I don't think they're going to pay that."

Anyone that purposefully didn't follow a simple rule like not parking illegally was surely not going to worry about paying a little fine. Her head instantly moved upwards and leaned against his side when she felt his fingers brush against her thick dark fur. If she was supposed to be a pet she should act like one even if it seemed so...demeaning. With the group of people swarming around them to get through that door she made sure to stay close to him as possible. Though once they crossed that threshold that unsettling feeling she felt seemed only to increase. She wanted to tuck her tail between her legs and run away, but that feral side of her forced her to stay. When a vampire got a bit too close to her she let out a very soft, warning growl, black lips pulling back to briefly show her teeth. He laughed and pointed but took a step back to allow them space. Turning her head to the side she noticed as they walked there were some tables, but she couldn't tell exactly what it was. She would crane her head about sniffing the air it tasted, wrong, so very wrong. There were many vampires here which was surprising, because she's never seen or smelled so many. Dark Hunters were here but she was so they weren't anything like Azrael. One ear twitched as she heard his muttered comment. Softly her voice pressed gently in his mind her tone holding a concerned tone.

"I don't think people are looking for love here...it doesn't...feel right."

If people were looking for love here....they were...weird. She followed his gaze upwards seeing that there was a second level with very few vampires about. Looking at one end she noticed a very pretty vampire woman standing quite impatiently. Although she was pretty there was something about her that just seemed...upsetting, and that was the best way she could put it. All those alarm bells in her head were ringing, and they continued to ring when she looked over at the male vampire beside her. Shaking her head to rid herself of those extremely loud sirens she looked to the other side, noting the vampire with the white large canines. Her attention on the other vampires up there was disrupted when she felt someone's boot press down on her paw. Her mouth opened wide as she attempted to snap at the individual for daring to step on her, clearly her feral side didn't appreciate this. Her teeth didn't sink into the person's arm, thanks to Azrael grabbing her and pulling the woman towards him. Seeing the two talk to one another it became apparent that they knew one another. That introduction of herself was clearly ignored, but Raven wasn't bothered by it. She was bothered though that the three of them were standing and the vampires that walked by seemed to be watching them. Her attention was back on the woman as she explained just what sort of event was going on in this facility. The realization that this was an auction place for supernatural creatures to buy another supernatural creatures made her...sick wasn't even the right word for how she felt. She couldn't help, but fold her ears back in a sadden gesture as she looked at the booklet showing the photos of the people being sold, reading their information. This was just...despicable. Turning her head away from the booklet she shook her head dejectedly. When Azrael raised his voice those vampires that were walking past them and looking at them seemed to now stop and blankly stare at them. The fur along the back of her neck stood on end, standing beside Azrael protectively.

"Martin, they are watching us."

Really and truly Azrael needed to lower his voice. But as he continued his conversation she kept her eyes on the crowd beginning to form around them. Not liking the looks they were getting she pulled her lips back to reveal those sharp white teeth of hers, a silent warning, telling them to back off. The sound of a canine's deep bark made her gaze shift upwards. One of those white dogs above seemed to be the one responsible for that bark, his ears pointed forward directly at her. Why in the world would he bark at her...she didn't do anything wrong...okay maybe she did and she wasn't acting like a docile pet. It was creepy how that dog didn't move an inch as she kept her eyes locked on his. He would break the stare when the blonde man started to stroke the top of his head gently, now his eyes locked on her. Unsettled by that look she quickly looked away and back at Azrael who seemed to be staring at Macy as she left them. His comment about not being away from him was answered with a firm nod.

"Trust me, I don't want to be bought."

Who in the world would want to be bought here? His order to follow him was obeyed as she followed after him, but she felt a very strong grip along her shoulder. Stopping herself she looked up so she a...child? It didn't smell like a typical child. She could hear her feral side urging her to bite the child, but something was telling her not to. Azrael didn't notice she was not following up. She would gently press her voice into his head, telling him she was stuck. Once he turned around and came back she gave him a worried work, as the child was pressing down again her back, not gently at all. This child looked to be 7 maybe 8, but for how long he was stuck at that age she didn't want to know. Behind the child came a very tall African vampire stalking towards them. Highly uncomfortable she could feel her whole entire body rattling, but it wasn't from her fear, it was from that low threatening growl. The taller man smile did nothing to set her as easy and his charming baritone voice didn't help her either.

"Hold on there, buddy. Are you interested in making some money off her? A few guys up above have been eyeing that wolf, marveling at that unique pelt, and her obvious loyalty to you...so very protecting. This could be your chance to get a glimpse of the high-life, what do you say?"

Blue-grey eyes looked over towards Azrael. Please say no, please say no she thought. They weren't the best of friends, but she was sure they got along well enough where he wouldn't just abandon her here. What if she was stuck here? How was she going to get out? Raven was ready to pluck that chord that connected her towards Tobias and Tetradore, ready to call on them to help her get out of this...hell hole! That child lifted his hand off her shoulder, but his constant petting made her stay absolutely exactly where she was. Who knew she would be eager to stand at Azrael's side! Before they could help the others surely he would be willing to help her out...right?
