South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Raylin Chike

She continues to wave that jerky in the air gently, sending the scent of it down the dock. Raylin is hardly turned away by the growls that so emit from his throat, he growled at her every day, if he was going to attack her he would have done it already, the girl reading his body language as best as she could. The pup hardly seemed aggressive, more or less just protective of his home and as for as Ray could tell, she hadn't quite trespassed yet. So, she remains with her little treat in hand, a small smile curling at the corner of her lips as a deep masculine voice startles her. She's careful to not make any sudden moves, hardly wanting to compromise how much farther she had come today, although, she does take her eyes off of the sleek black pup to glance up at a man. A rather handsome man at that. Tussled hair, leather jacket, nicely fitting pants. She doesn't have time to respond before the growling suddenly stops, his ears perk up and the slightest waving of his tail can be seen.

A brilliant smile breaks out across her face as she waves the jerky a little more, enticing the pup who begins to creep forward, perhaps a bit warily. He takes that jerky surprisingly gently before he begins to probe her face, Raylin freezing under his inspection. She hardly wanted to startle the pup! So she allows him to explore her scent as the stranger comments again, the girl unable to respond as the dog gives her one big slobbery kiss. Laughing, she tentatively reaches out and touches his soft coat, giving him a scratch behind his ear before dropping her hand. She didn't want to push her luck, she was thankful he even came to see her today. As the stranger scolds his dog, Raylin laughs again before leaning her head back to meet his unique eyes, "His name is Barney? It seems fitting," she grins before looking back at the massive black dog, "You're such a good boy, Barney," she coos at him gently, daring to give him another scratch behind his ear.

The dog is practically on top of her now as he seems to shove his nose into her suit, in search of more of that jerky. He succeeds in urging Raylin to retrieve it from her pocket, offering the dog another small piece as the man speaks again, the girl looking up at him again as she attempts to hide the jerky treats from Barney. "I think he was secretly always a lover," she states with a wide smile, "Ooof, you're heavy, a lot heavier than you look!" She exclaims as the dog practically sits in her lap. She entirely misses the smile he offers her, Raylin far too distracted by the lump in her lap as she giggles again, desperately wanting to bury her face in his soft fur and yet, she knew better. She would come see him every day and build a relationship with the pup, yes, that's what she would do! His question catches her off guard, as she leans back to adjust the weight of the dog in her lap. Positioning her hands behind her, she leans backwards before looking at the man again, "That's a new one! I haven't heard the cotton candy term yet," she laughs, "And it's a little cold, but not bad if you have a dry suit and boots on," she nods to her tightly clad black suit on her, "Your hands and ears get a little cold, if I'm being honest. Although, they make those silly caps you can wear to keep the water out of your hair and ears but I just don't like them," she admits, her gaze traveling to Barney.

"Sorry I was feeding your dog, I surf ever morning and I see him almost every day. I've been trying to befriend him for awhile now, this is the first time I tried the jerky trick," she smiles apologetically, "He's so beautiful," she compliments the pup as something grabs his attention and he shifts his weight off her. Pulling herself to a standing position, she wipes the fur from her legs before extending her frigid hand, "I'm Raylin, but everyone calls me Ray," she introduces herself waiting to shake his hand. "I can't say I've ever seen you before and I'm at the beach down here a lot. Do you live on your boat?" She asks, her eyes traveling back to the beautiful boat behind him, "It's a gorgeous boat," she admits with a smile, Raylin having never been on a boat herself before, even though she practically lived in the water. After shaking his hand, she runs her own fingers through her damp pink locks, pushing them out of the way, a slight breeze cutting through the two of them. "Oh wow, it's definitely getting a little colder now," she laughs lightheartedly, though she was far from complaining as she folds her arms over her chest to reserve her body heat.
