South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Azrael

Only Fools Walk Where Angels Fear To Tread

Maybe it shouldn't have mattered to him as much as it did. Maybe it wasn't his business and yet....wasn't his girlfriend his business? At least.....even a little bit? Why he took such great offense at Sera's apparent abandonment as a child even he could hardly say. He was hardly an emotional sort of person in any sense, nor did he have any great love for children and their veritable plight in the world- much less one abandoned street urchin and yet he could hardly deny that complex, tangling of emotions that tale of sorts seemed to prompt within him. He was....angry.....for her. That very moment, perhaps, highlighting the truth off his own care and affection for the woman beside him. The depths of those emotions almost shocking to Azrael himself and yet he hardly chose to voice them all aloud in that moment. At least not entirely. The man content instead with that simple, grumbled utterance that Serafina was one of the best people he knew. That it was the fault of those people whom had left her behind for not getting to know her, for missing out on being in her life. Azrael determined to....protect her even if he knew it was a foolish notion. Protect her from who? Those people were long since gone and he could hardly protect her from her own emotions on the matter. Although, truthfully, the young witch seemed remarkably...accepting of the entire idea. Azrael determined they would make her a person all the same. At least, in the eyes of the government and the city at large. The Hunter distinctly determined to see that task undertaken. The Council surely had more than enough resources to assist him in getting together that paperwork, his own....urging surely enough to get those documents taken care off far more swiftly then usual in turn.

He hardly anticipated either that use off his real name or that press off her lips to his cheek as she lent over the center console. The very gesture seeming to sooth the mans rather bristling exterior- at least for now. That tease falling easily from his lips. The very matter was sure to continue to irk him until it was resolved in full. Even if Sera hardly desired to find her real parents. There was, after all, every chance that they might not be the sort of people she wanted in her life. In fact, there was every chance she, they really, might be better off without them. Azrael making a determined effort then to respect Sera's veritable decision on the matter and focus his attention insead on the concept of names. Her last name, more specifically. The golden-haired hunter content to frown at the realisation he hardly knew where her last name had come from, especially if she had never been given one at birth. Whose name did she have then? Surely not that Mentor's. Azrael's query on that very thing seeming to prompt that entirely unanticipated blush from the woman in its wake. The Hunter eyeing her almost warily now as he glanced away from the road, Sera attempting to direct her own attention out of that window. In all the years they had been together he could count on one hand the amount of times he'd ever seen her blush. Maybe he didn't want to know. Then again, not knowing what had stirred that sweet colour to her cheeks would perhaps irritate him more then whatever the truth might be. Sera suddenly insisting he was not allowed to laugh.

That very look he afforded her was near incredulous. Azrael not exactly the sort of being prone to laughter as it was- that very declaration only seeming to make him all the more wary before he dared to inquire as to whether or not this was the sort of tale that might prompt him to laugh the way he had when she had put socks on Arik's feet and he had been unable to run- or more akin to his decidedly unamused take on the fucking hat rack she had tormented him with for months in the beginning of their relationship. His insistence he wouldn't laugh seemed to result in that almost dramatic flop from the woman all the same as she finally relented to that tale. Azrael pulling that car into the kerb outside her home before shutting off the engine to afford her the entirety off his attention. The man doubtful all the same of her declaration it was a story far more akin to Arik's socks. Azrael daring to inquire if she had pilfered it off a cereal box. That question apparently the wrong one to ask. Azrael scowling readily in turn.

"Well I don't fucking know! You said it was funny and I.....the historical society?"

His own words were very near cut off at the sudden mention of that building with the blue awning. He knew it well even if he'd only been inside once or twice- and for work on both occasions. The Hunter hardley having paid very much attention to what was within it at all. The man falling silent as she continued with that story then. Serafina near reluctantly admitting that she had taken the last name of a French aristocratic family if only because she wanted to feel....important. Azrael momentarily quiet in the wake of that admittance before that rarely seen simper seemed to find his lips- yet, that look was hardly one of laughter. After all, he'd promised he wouldn't laugh. His golden gaze meeting her own again as she turned back towards him. His shoulders lifting in a loose shrug.

"I don't think theres anything wrong with wanting to feel part of something like that. Besides, if you want to be French, well, who the hell can say your not? You could be an aristocrat for all we know. Come on."

He could hardly bring himself to laugh at his his girlfriend for that admittance she had wanted to be part of something, well, special. Didn't everyone want to be part of something? Besides maybe she really was French. It wasn't as if anyone knew. Azrael hardly seeing any need to critique her choice in last name. Besides that name suited her really. Azrael stepped easily out of the car then, moving around to Sera's door to open it and allow the woman out before leading the way up those front step's and to Sera's front door.

"Besides- DuBois is a sexy name, just saying."

One eye lifted just slightly. Azrael chuckling softly before following Sera inside, his keys tossed onto the hall table as he moved to shrug that jacket off and step into the bedroom. The Hunter wandering over to the wardrobe to hang that jacket on his side of that closet- before he moved to collapse back on that bed, one leg folding over the other as his arms folded behind his head. Azrael eyeing his girlfriend once more as she appeared in the doorway.

"I think I was promised a Witches Outfit...."
