South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The idea of Raven increasing her size near tenfold was a daunting one, to say the least. Tobias never truly having considered its implications before. At least....he didn't think he had. If his Other had given any great thought to the idea then he had surely not mentioned it to his current self. Although, truly, he was sure some sort of memory over the fact lingered within the depths of his mind with a certainty. He had seen Raven increase her size before, he was sure of it, even if the memory remained hazy and somewhat haphazard within whatever fractured parts of his mind existed. His very words upon the topic seemed to prompt a ready grin from Raven as she nodded enthusiastically at the idea before turning the truck smoothly to the right and further elaborating upon the idea. Tobias' gaze shifted towards her then in a clear curiosity as she insisted he had ridden on her back on several occasions. Well,he supposed, if she wasn't offended by it there was little harm. Bizzare a choice for a mount though it was. Her insistence that he could mimic anothers power was met with a nod. That, after all, he knew. Those powers they shared perhaps one of the few points of communication that existed well between both halves. Although why neither of them had ever tried to increase their size in a copy of Raven's own power he hardly knew in turn. There had never been a reason for himself to do so, he supposed and yet as for his Other. Perhaps he simply....liked his size? Tobias' features frowned if only briefly in a clear consideration of the facts presented toward him before Raven chuckled softly at the idea of a Dark hunter facing a giant wolf and Leopard. He could hardly deny such a thing would take any dark hunter by surprise. His own eyes rolled playfully all the same as his head shook.

"There would be some fool, like that Azrael fellow, who I'm sure would try to fight us anyway. Although I might enjoy seeing that."

A smile tugged at his lips. Tobias allowing his own chuckle to rise within his throat then. That sound far more...human than it so often was. Raven reached towards him then, her hand coming to rest upon his own to offer that reassuring squeeze that seemed to chase away any of those further thoughts on just why he could hardly seem to remember her size changing ability. Tobias, instead, choosing to ask after those elephants and whether or not they were just going to be...wandering around. Was that even safe? It hardly seemed safe. Then again maybe the elephants were...used to people? Raven insisted that most of them were, indeed, roaming free even if some of them needed that further care before they went back. Went back where? Not to the wild surely? Tobias so taking that moment to afford his mate a near curious look- one that held no small amount of doubt.

"They are not wild elephants are they? Is that safe?"

He was, he was assured, capable of taking on an elephant if required and yet truly Tobias was distinctly assured that he would rather not attempt such a thing. Then again, Raven surely would not be taking them to some activity she felt was unsafe. She was always sensible about that sort of thing. They pulled into the entrance to the park a few moments later. Raven, it seemed, far more excited about this then he had given her credit for as she all but beamed. Tobias moved to swing down from that truck and head toward the barn that seemed to be some sort of reception area. Raven extended her hand then, her fingers entwined with his own before she pulled him along behind her. It was ...nice, to see her so excited about something. Tobias unable to help the simper that found his lips in response before they approached those two guides or...elephant tamers or....whatever they might prefer to call themselves. The man extended his hand in greeting as Tobias politely took it, offering that greeting in turn as the fellow introduced himself as Abel and explained what they planned to do today before insisting they washed their hands.

A look of surprise managed to find his features all the same before Tobias moved to follow his wife toward that sink, the man content to eye that water with a distinct sort of displeasure even despite that logical part of his mind insisting he would hardly drown beneath a tap stream. His hand washing was thorough, even if brief, before he came to Raven's side once more. The pair made their way through the barn then and toward a pen of sorts out behind it that held two very large elephants and what Tobias could only presume were two babies- despite their sheer size in turn. The sudden trumpeting of one of those elephants near caused his heart to miss a beat, that sound near earth shaking as Tobias eyed it warily once more. Raven, however, seemed only further delighted to be in the animals company. Unwilling to be left behind the lanky deviant hurried to follow behind the rest of the group as Abel began to hand them vegetables. Were these vegetables large enough? Didn't they have a whole pumpkin or something anywhere? How much of this would elephants have to eat to feel full!? Tobias, suddenly, almost curious of how much an elephant did eat- let alone four of them. Abel explained the predicament of the animals. The two larger elephants charged with raising those smaller ones as a surrogate family of sorts. The idea almost pack-like. Abel encouraged them to offer those vegetables then. Raven, seemingly fearless, readily allowed that large, blind elephant to approach her before offering the cabbage in her hands. The creature, despite its size, seeming near impossibly gentle as it took that food from Raven's hand. Tobias, in that moment, left watching the creature in clear surprise as Raven took to stroking its trunk.

"You like them very much, don't you?"

He offered softly. Raven, for her part, was near positively beaming in delight. Tobias' attention turned towards another of the elephants then as it approached him in turn, the lanky leopard content to hold his own cabbage out as far as possible lest the animal somehow mistakenly grab his arm. This elephant, as Raven's had been, equally as gentle in taking that cabbage before extending its trunk back toward Tobias once more as his hand extended to gently touch that long nose.

"It feels...very strange. Not like what I thought."
