South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

Leaving her mate to himself for most of the day wasn't something she was keen about doing. Allowing her mate to be in the cabin by himself seemed like a foolish thing. Tobias could use the time to spend with the man he saw as a brother. She wouldn't be around so all his attention could be on the green-eyed man. Unfortunately, he was still busy trying to find a way where their pack could return and live together. Raven hated being so far away from their family. As the days went by, she could feel that string that bound her to each member start to loosen. Their honeymoon was the last time they got to spend some alone time together, and although it was nice to be at the cabin alone together, she still missed their pack. Wandering around their territory was fun. It never bothered her when her spotted companion would work on marking the various trees to claim their place as their own. It was no surprise that the man she loved was slowly starting to allow his animal half to take more control. So, returning to the cabin after being alone needless to say Raven was expecting the worse. However, when she found the cabin not destroyed, she was extremely pleased. Seeing her husband feeding the ducks was a delightful surprise. Grabbing the photo album, she went outside to join him. Giving him a small smile as he proclaimed his appreciation for ducks, having no idea he meant he liked to eat them. With a nod, she spoke softly, pleased that her past suggestion was working out for him.

"I like ducks too! I told you that if you were patient and nice to the ducks, they will trust you."

As much as she would like to continue such a fun topic about how he should treat the ducks, she had a serious matter to discuss with him. With her fingers, she gently stroked his arm, attempting to get his attention. With his undivided attention, she shakily started talking gently, slowly to make sure he followed along. Mentioning the puppy and kitten seemed to have caught his attention because she noticed the tilt of his head. After tracing the letters on the photo album cover, she started shifting the pages to find the newest photo she slipped in earlier. Raven wasn't sure if he would believe her, that the photo indeed showed their baby. If he didn't, well, she'd have to figure it out. Staying quiet, she watched as his eyes shifted back and forth between the ultrasound and her stomach, allowing the man to connect the pieces. When he pointed towards the photo asking if it was the baby, she happily nodded, pleased that he understood.

"Yes, this is the baby. I'll be able to get more photos of the baby as it grows, each time I visit the doctor. Would you...like to go with me?"

Was it possible that the first appointment could have gone wrong? Absolutely! She didn't want that to happen. If she took her mate, he would be overwhelmed, and she would be distressed. Raven couldn't go through that, not during the first appointment. Her attention shifted from her mate towards the friendly ducks that quacked and waddled up towards them to look for bread. With a mischievous grin, her voice held a playful tone, excited to tell him just when their bundle of joy would come.

"The Doctor said we could have our baby around Halloween...you know the day we get to do Trick or Treat. I guess the treat this year would be us having a baby."

Halloween was always a fun time for everyone! There were sweets to enjoy, scary movies to watch, fun events to attend, and see everyone dress up. Trick or Treat was the big event for her husband, but now they would be able to do all these things with a child of their own. Raven couldn't help but giggle at the very idea that their baby would be a 'treat'. Blue-grey eyes would widen as a very bad thought started to appear...what if their child was a trick! No, no, she shouldn't think of such things. The baby would be okay, everything will be okay! Shaking her head to dismiss such thoughts, she went quiet, unsure about his next question. Raven wasn't sure what they would name their child. It was important that whatever name they gave their child...it just...needed to be a good one. With a shrug of her shoulders, she shook her head.

"The baby doesn't have a name...I don't even know if it is a boy or a girl."

His suggestion what they could call their child was answered with a look of shock on her face. No, this will not be the name for their child. Not at all. Why in the world would he think of such a thing! Their child was not going to be named after another animal, or another bird for that matter. A look of shock appeared on her face at his suggestion on what they could call their child. No, this will not be the name for their child. Not at all. Why in the world would he think of such a thing! Her parents named her after a bird, and she didn't know why. However, she knew that another member of their family would not be named after a bird. Calling their child with their Alpha's similar moniker would make things confusing. And as for Tobias, if they had a son it would be acceptable. Fathers bestowed their names upon their sons. Taking his hand, she would squeeze it gently to ease whatever concerns he had over the thought of naming their child.

"I don't think you want to name our child, that is a predator, after prey. And all the names are our own, and that might be confusing. I am sure we can find a very good name for our child, but we do not have to make that decision now."

Leaning into her husband she sighed contently. This was all going very well. With one finger she traced the outline of her baby in the ultrasound photo with a small simper. It was still surreal...all of it. Even though this was her first time having a child, it was his second. Still tracing the outline of the baby she murmured softly to hear mate.

"I never thought I'd have this before Tobi. A family of our own, being a Mother. Are you happy about being a Father, again?"
