South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

There was a time to play and there was a time not to play. Sadly their little game with the armadillos were over and once more they returned to their particular dilemma- just how in the world were they going to escape? They were trapped in an enclosure with no way out. Sure the idea of climbing a tree came to mind, but she did not require the proper tools in her canine form and really, she thought he'd just climb the tree already and be on his merry way. It did not occur to her that he would be so willing to stick around and see to it they both escaped. It was their way in the natural order of things. Why help another when survival instincts told otherwise. While the were-panther moved past her she would take a tentative step backwards turning around to watch him at a safe distance. As his ebony fur receded into a lighter dark tanned skin she would immediately avert her eyes and simply watch the pinkish brown armadillos uncurl from their balls and start to waddle around now that no one was chasing and swatting them. In her pack it was not decent to shift without clothes on. Though lately she has noticed that not many Weres' here were capable of doing such a thing. It was when she heard his baritone voice did she lift her ebony cranium. As he spoke softly one grey trimmed ear fell back against her skull in an uncertain manner, as the other ear moved forward to hear further instructions. Although his plan was well thought out and reasonable she could hardly bring herself to do as he asked. Although he was a dominant creature by nature and she was one that would follow another with that ability, it was her fear that seemed to hold the control now. Gingerly she took a step forward, wary, as her own soft alto voice pressed gently into his mind an understandable inquiry.

"How do I know I can trust you?"

Okay so really she shouldn't have asked such a thing, but how could she not? For all she knew he was sticking around her all in order to use her as a scape goat and get himself free. Though why he would continue to show some form of interest and stick around was simply beyond her. Blue-grey eyes would silently stare into his emerald pools and her focus would break when she heard a faint sound of footsteps coming towards the door that had first led them here. Padding softly towards him and his interlaced hands, at the ready, she would start to shift back. As the familiar sounds of bones popping back into place, she had not shifted as normally as she would have, and it could possibly be blame for two things. For starters she had been shot at and drugged and was still going through the aftermath of a drug, she was afraid they would get caught, and overall her fear of trusting him and getting out was all she could truly focus on. The lupine was replaced with a pale skinned young woman with long curly golden-brown locks that cascaded down her shoulders. Trails of jagged scars ran up and down across her form, no limb was untouched, and her sides were traced with various serrated scars here and there, each one holding a dark memory that reminded her that touch was not necessary a good thing. Though there was a particular splash of color from Red to orange with hues of black and blue, an odd adornment on such abused flesh. The left hip and side was marked with flames and a coal like Phoenix that held a tiny resemblance to her namesake. A cold summer air caused the girl to flinch and clench her teeth, realizing she had not shifted with her clothes on as she usually did, and her cheeks would change into a deep shade of pink. Hearing his command holding a rough bite to it, her head would lower as she stepped towards him flinching as she stepped into his hands, looking up and stretching for the limb he had pointed out earlier. Thankfully she managed to grab hold and used his hands as a stand while he brought her up, hoisting herself up as quickly and quietly as she could. Managing to squat on top of the branch she looked down, reaching for the man muttering softly.

"Here...let me help..."

Keeping a strong grip of his hand she would shift back towards the bark of the tree, slowly lifting him as best as she could so he could get on and they could share the limb. Blue-grey eyes would flicker towards the second branch he pointed out and tentatively she stood up, attempting to calm her nerves. Using the trunk of the tree to steady herself she inhaled softly as she leapt towards the limb. As a female she should have grace to do such a thing, but sadly she was a canine and really these sort of terrifying leaps were meant for felines. Bare feet managed to land on top of the second branch and her hand would reach out from the trunk as she brought her other arm around to hug the trunk. Knowing she wouldn't fall she would move down the limb towards the enclosures' wall. Just one more leap and she was scot free. Clenching her teeth she would make a short run along the branch and make her final leap a grin on her face as she felt herself falling over the enclosures' wall. Before she reached the ground she would shift into her lupine form, her grey legs making contact with the ground, but that force would knock her to on her side and she would slide along the ground for a moment. Getting up she would shake the dirt and the nerves form herself, looking up to see the green-eyed male make flawlessly leap over too, should he make it. She was hardly going to leave him behind if he had gone through the trouble of helping her. Hopefully the zoo didn't have a personal investigator using a Briar Pipe to solve the escape of a Wolf and a Panther. Though once he made it over her words would brush his mind gently once more.

"Thank you...but you didn't have to."

Cranium would tilt to the side in a curious manner as her grey banner swayed side to side glad to be free of the place, but more so, that he had made it and she didn't get hurt- in any such way from him.
