South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The young woman didn't have to ask Tetradore how their packmates were doing. She could have easily reached out to them by giving them a call or texting them. And yet, although technology had a way of keeping everyone connected with one another, it also served as a great tool to help hide how they truly felt. With a text you couldn't tell how the other was truly thinking or feeling. Talking to one another on a video call might be a little bit easier to know how they really were. Not everyone was good at trying to hide what they really thought. A voice on a phone call could be alerted. How many times did she change the pitch of her voice to imply that she was okay? For all she knew Tetradore could be lying and keeping the gritty details to himself. His quick response that all was well reassured her in believing that he was telling her the truth. It was good to hear that they were all doing okay under their circumstances. It would be nice to see them all again and have a moment of peace and work on reforming those once very tight bonds. Keeping her bright blue-grey eyes locked on his own vibrant emerald eyes, she waited quietly for his response, only to be disappointed when he answered and looked away from her. A noticeable sign that he was deflecting. After all these years she would hope that there was a little bit of trust where he could allow those walls to crack and let her in, if only to help. Taking the final bite out of her sandwich she let it go and merely nodded.

If she could not learn how he was doing and provide any assistance, even just being an ear, then perhaps she could learn a little bit about their home. The Ark was an archaic cargo ship, but it was reliable. She would have believed it if someone told her that a cargo ship would be the first place she ever felt safe with a pack of misfits that accepted her as she was. Losing their home was extremely unfortunate, but if there was one bright side to this, it was the fact that they could build something new. Business was always going very well, the Ark was insured, and she was certain that they did place some money aside so maybe they did have the money to get themselves a new cargo ship, probably a more modern one. When business would resume, she was sure their relaunch would be a complete success, and eventually, everything will be okay again. It wasn't often Raven had something big to look forward to, but everything seemed to be going in the right direction for a change. Losing their home was a detour, but Tetradore was fixing it and soon enough things would be back to somewhat normal, well a new normal. Eager to learn more she waited patiently for him to respond only to be disappointed yet again because he had nothing interesting to divulge. Well, that was no fun. Grabbing a cracker, she nibbled on it quietly pondering how he was going to accept her big news. Hopefully he wouldn't feel too stressed about it.

"Oh...well, that's good that it's going and you're making progress. Progress is good."

For a moment she gave him a reassuring smile before allowing the silence to settle between them. Steeling her nerves, she used his moniker Tobias had taught her to say to get his attention, before telling him the good news she was excited and nervous to say. When he decided to look away and back at the window, she turned to look in that general direction too. Shifting in her seat to face the window she took her hand off her stomach and used it to grab another cracker and popped it into her mouth. Was he not happy about the news? Was he remembering what it was like when his own sister was pregnant with Tobias's children? Thinking on that she couldn't quite remember if he was happy that his sister was having Tobias's children. It wasn't like he was very open with his thoughts or feelings. If anything, it was his actions that generally showed them how he thought. He helped prepare the Ark for the twins, buying the baby safety items, so perhaps he did care in his own way. Building an adjoining room for their new quarters was a very generous thing to do, that gesture showed he cared, right? She wasn't expecting him to be elated by the news, but maybe a little bit happy that his best friend was going to raise his family? Hearing his congratulations, she nodded quietly giving him a small smile.

"Thank you, Tetra! We're excited, and nervous...well I guess I'm a bit more nervous than he is. He's been suggesting names like Fork, or Napkin, or Duck. I've been telling him that we won't name our child that, but...he's determined to find a name of some kind."

Going through this pregnancy would be quite the adventure. Hopefully it would all go very well. After all she and Tobias had been through, it would do them very well if things went okay for a change. Grabbing the other sandwich, she bit into it and chewed on it quietly allowing the two to sit into silence. Staring at the window she noticed her mate making an appearance in his leopard form. He seemed quite content to be chasing after a butterfly. Yep, this pregnancy was going to be, well something. Matteo mentioned that many single mothers managed to raise their children on their own. It would be difficult, but a bit manageable. It wasn't like her mate wasn't able to help in his own way, but there would be somethings he just may not be able to do...which means she would be doing it on her own. As patient as she was, she was aware that she may not be as patient as before. Not when her hormones were all jacked or her mind was in 'Mother mode.' Finishing her sandwich, she looked over to Tetradore murmuring softly.

"Tetra? I promise to...not be a pain as a Mother and seem like some sort of overbearing...difficult to deal with packmate."

i'm not ashamed of my scars,
i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.
