South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The day was beautiful and she hadn't blown anything up in an uncontrollable burst of power so it was a win-win, so far. The WereCoyote went back to the pack house to clean up and get some fresh clothes on before heading back out. She was never one to stay cooped up too long. She'd spent far too many years running loose in the woods to care about walls caging her in all the time. She barely even slept in the house. Most of the time, she'd rather shift and find a new den somewhere to curl up and call it a night. That is, if she even slept. Sleep was boring. You couldn't chase rabbits and play arcade games in your sleep. You couldn't chow down on cheese fries and start bar fights in your sleep. Life was still too exciting to Malia to bother sleeping most of the time. She'd been in this world of humans a few years now but there was still so much more to explore.

As she walked through the park, the woman's eyes picked out the fountain and she smirked while picking a path toward it. She didn't get why people threw stuff into the fountain, something about wishes or something. She once made a little boy cry cause she told him that wasn't how wishes come true. That little prick promptly went to rat on her to his mother who wasted no time in giving Malia a dirty look, but she didn't regret what she said.

She was eying the small crowd, trying to pick up her next target, when she saw the stand-offish man sitting there. He was flicking a coin into the fountain himself, but it wasn't that fact that got her curious. It was his smell. "Were..." She murmured to herself as the woman made her way toward him. Ignoring all the vibes that said he didn't want company, Malia sat on the fountain beside him. "Good thing there's no fish in there. They'd probably get copper poisoning from all the pennies." Waiting to draw his attention, the woman offered a smirk and tilted her head. "So what kind are you? Bear, emu, skunk? You look like you'd be something predatory. Don't tell me you're a rabbit." The Were had never been one to filter and she didn't really have an inside voice either. Just in case he couldn't tell by smell, she gave him another hint that she was alright, her eyes flashing bright electric blue for a few seconds before reverting back to her normal brown.
