South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

She offers him a tight smile, giving her a head a small nod in acknowledgment, "I am too, there's not a whole lot of women out here so it's a little satisfying to beat the mean to the wave," she says, watching as Ashton extends his hand in greeting. She frowns at it, taking far too long to reach out. When he flips his hand over to look at it, worried there might be something on it, she releases a sigh and grasps it. His warm fingers felt nice on her ice cold skin, confirming that he was, in fact, not a vampire. It was the middle of the day though, of course he wasn't a vampire. Not that she had anything against the walking dead... just merely one.

"It's nice to meet you too," she responds, only for him to tell her he had a cousin with a similar name, "That's pretty crazy, I've never met anyone with a name similar to mine," she offers him a small smile, the tightness beginning to leave her features. "You're smarter than I was, I was too distracted by just getting here I should have checked the weather," she laughs, a bit more freely this time, tucking her frozen fingers beneath her arms, as if that would warm her up in any capacity. "I have to work in about an hour so I don't think I will get a chance to see it warm up today," she muses, almost dejectedly.

The sudden compliment has her brows raising in surprise as she looks at him, really looks at him, noting the baby softness around his face, the genuine and kind eyes staring back at her. "Well, I would hope so," she laughs again, her voice quite musical when it wasn't taken over by fear, "I've been surfing for 20 years and I teach lessons on my weekends," she explains, a wave disrupting their conversation as it washes around their hips, Ray instinctively leaning forward and regaining her balance almost immediately. "I probably only have time for one more wave but do you want to join me?" She asks, the fear mostly gone though she felt, no, needed to not run away from this conversation, even if every accented word sent shivers down her spine.
