South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.
Home of: The Cavalry

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Recoiling slightly away from Isolt, as she gripped the blonde far too tightly, shameful eyes simply looked away as she shuffled backwards a bit. Witnessing violence always left her a bit in timid shambles, not wishing to be among anything that pertained to harming another. There was a time in a place for such things, but to her, this was not one of them. As for as she could see, the blonde man had every right to do as he pleased, even if it was wrong. Familiar ties ensured that he was above her. He was a part of her sister pack; a pack Were was always above a Loner. He was male an instinctual understanding that male was always above female, as was in their nature, and it was something that could not be altered. Isolt was not aware of why Raven was stuck in such an archaic method of thinking, but it was something she always understood, and it was so very difficult to change a mindset that was instilled at a young tender age. While the blonde stumbled back, clutching his deformed limb, Raven flinched when she noticed the look thrown at her from Isolt. Her shoulders lowered, head falling down in shame, hearing Isolt's words hold some venom in them. Long nimble fingers twisted around one another nervously. The chains around her wrists began to slacken, head lifting upwards confused, watching as the plump man began to unwrap them. Unsure as to why she simply stood there dumbfounded. With a tired and heavy sigh the shorter man simply glared at the newborn vampire, his soft voice holding that depreciating tone.

"You do not understand Miss, your...friend, killed her entire pack.

Raven did not have the benefit of seeing Isolt's reaction to this new tidbit of information about her, a bit of information she always kept in the dark. Blue-grey eyes widen in shock as the blonde managed to shoot a silver bullet at the young vampire. The need to protect Isolt overwhelm the poor curly-haired woman mixed in with the shame of her dark past revealed, not to mention the instinctual drive for self-preservation. The familiar snapping of bones could be felt as well as that sensational buzzing in the back of her mind, that humming only sound stronger and stronger, blocking out the shrieks the blonde was making as Isolt extracted her revenge. In place where the meek girl once stood was an oddly marked wolf that was, in no means, the size of a wolf. Slowly but surely the lupine would shift into its bigger size, long jaws pried open bearing its sharp teeth at the trio. One grey ear twitched, hearing the blonde shriek something that she just couldn't understand, a mixture of German and English words. There was 'feral,' 'danger,' 'kill,' words that her feral mind simply couldn't understand. But she could understand action. The blonde was weakened, the Vampire had done damage to his forearm and jaw. The Vampire, although a strong species, was injured and it was hungry...that was far too easy to tell. The other Were with the silver chains was of no importance to her. All she could think about was that she was surrounded by weaklings and as she understood nature, far better than the rest of them, they all deserved to die. Ripping snarl came out of the bear-sized lupine as the plump man held a gun behind the Vampire's head. Guns...these objects brought pain, this she knew from past experience, but she did not want him to kill the girl...she wanted to do it.

Ignoring the blonde, since he was being pinned down by the red-head, her heard would lower as sharp fangs clamped down upon the flesh of the man, His plump figure unable to release the trigger, the Vampire momentarily safe. A savage growl rumbled from the beast as she lifted the plump man's body, taking a step back, her skull shaking side to side. The shrieks of the man only seemed to encourage the feral creature, her jaw moving up and down, sinking her teeth deeper and deeper into his body. Her teeth shredding him, with each shake of her head. Once she felt his body go limp the beast simply dropped his carcass unceremoniously to the ground. One long pink tongue poked out as it lapped up the excess of blow along her bloodstained muzzle. Slowly the creature would take a step towards the duo bright duo-colored eyes simply looked towards the starving Vampire, the intent to kill still hardwired, and yet...there was a flash of recognition. The vampire before her was friend and not foe. Her skull would lower once more, but this time her muzzle remained shut as it gently brushed into the side of the pale-fleshed woman, a soft whimper a sign that she was back in control...for the time being. Though that moment of peace would be shattered as soon as the blonde began to speak.

Always she did as she was told. For her, following rules was a simple thing, something she could grasp and understand. She knew her place amongst her pack. For her sister pack, their command was transferable and it would always work on her. She would follow obediently, the last kind of whatever familiar authority she had with them. They were family, just without the love and affection one was supposed to receive. Though for once in her long pathetic life she was willing to do the unthinkable. To disobey. To break the final ties that attached her to some form of family structure. Raven was tired of being forced into this tiny containment, frustrated with their inability to accept her for what she was, and finally accepting the fact that she wouldn't be welcomed into their fold. That familiar buzzing could be felt in the back of her mind as she simply stared at the male. A part of her knew he wasn't supposed to be attacked, and yet, that was all she could think about- the ways to kill him. Stepping forward, one long forearm was placed beside Isolt, in a protective manner, as she stuck her face near the blonde male's, her voice low and garbled, attempting to spit out her new deceleration.

"Go...away...don't need...you."

I'd Rather Feel Pain Then Nothing At All
