South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Alexander

The dun in front of him was in...remarkable condition, given all that the stallion had endured. While bleeding into his lungs should have caused irreparable damage, there seemed not a trace of the consequences of the Mongolian race. In fact, for having stepped off a plane merely a day prior, the steed was remarkably...energetic. It was all but...baffling. Matteo had been insistent that it wasn't his handiwork and Frost's continued insistence of the existence of some unicorn that he'd had yet to produce continued to be a point of contention between the two. Even if Alexander entertained the notion of some fabled magical horse - why would one appear in the paddocks in Mongolia to heal this horse. His brows furrowed in consideration, the brush in his hand running diligently over the creature's spine as the dun chomped happily at a small bale of hay in front of him. Beside them, Peritas chomped happily at a brightly colored toy, his sharp puppy teeth making indentions in the plastic. It was the Mongolian Mastiff that caught wind of Anastasia first, his little head immediately perked up at the sound of her shoes even before she turned the corner. She was...foreign to him, prompting a high pitched yip that drew the weight of those oceanic irises towards him. "Hush, Peritas." He muttered softly, only for Alexander to pause and glance over his shoulder and down the hallway towards the approaching woman.

The little puppy growled, clearly considering that command before, begrudgingly, he settled back to chew upon his toy, just as Alexander continued his efforts to brush down the last of the blissfully inattentive stallion in front of him. He allowed the Duchess the time she clearly despised to make her approach, her shoes ringing out against the hardwood floors underfoot as she finally made her way towards him, only to utter a single word. "Anastasia." He answered back, his free hand running down the stallion's spine, clearly checking over his own work. Alexander stepped back, placing his brush against the far wall as he looked over the dun. "He looks good, no?" He commented, eying the creature for a moment longer before the weight of his gaze fell fully upon the Russian woman he'd taken under his wing. The Macedonian was hardly oblivious to how tired she looked. It was particularly blatant when the Duchess was often inclined to put substantial effort into her appearance. "You've been gone for a while." Alexander added, opening the door, so to speak, for Anastasia to breach the conversation of where she had been if she so desired it.
