South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

"Well you have to actually give me the chance to even offer."

Why on earth he was content to fight with her about who was going help who up he hardly knew, something within the slender young witch seeming to both agitate and yet invigorate him all at once, he determination to stand up to him, to argue with him in a fashion no one has dared to do in years seeming to ignite a myriad of varying emotions within the young-seeming man- the majority of which he is determined to ignore, some part of him still refusing to believe a creature so very....feisty truly existed. She is however, seemingly content enough to allow him to release his verbal tirade upon her, listing each and every incorrect action he is assured she has performed within the space of several minutes, although why he is seemingly content to go to such lengths to educate her can hardly be known. That the raven-haired girl had at least possessed the sense- for once, not to interrupt him is perhaps a fortunate thing, the little witch falling almost obediently into step beside him as he seems content to practically march her back towards her house in some rather bizarre gesture to protect her virtue- though from who or what clearly remains to be seen. The small, blissful moment of silence they are afforded is rapidly broken by the woman once more, Serafina seemingly utterly determined to argue with him once more, interjecting her own thoughts on the matter and yet for once perhaps, his own features merely frown at her mention of having no one. How such a woman is alone is...puzzling to his mind, then again maybe potential suitors simply did not enjoy her ability argue, although really, he supposes, it does display her evidently sharp wit- if anything.

He shakes the thoughts away with little more than a typically male grunt in response, her mention of requiring a dark hunter to teach her such things earning her the barest hint of a simper upon his lips at the how entirely incorrigible she was. Perhaps she was just, youthfully innocent, after all, he hardly believed her foolish and yet it was this very sought of naivety that was entirely assured to lead her astray.

"Serafina, do you know what Hunters actually do?"

It is....a surprisingly gentle sentence, a soft inquiry that sees one golden eye lift ever so slightly as his attention wavers to the woman beside him, the tall young man determined to maintain a suitable distance between himself and his feminine companion tonight- as if fearing she may accidently brush up against him in some manner, head turned with curiosity towards her all the same. Why she seemed so very determined to....befriend him he can hardly say and yet he is entirely assured such a thing is impossible. He has...forgotten what it is like to have friends, much less those of a species every inch of him is designed to destroy, seeking perhaps some assurance that she does, in fact- understand the ways of the world. The rather pleasant return of his greeting sees a simple nod of his head a little more, willing to admit perhaps that her ability to actually display appropriate feminine behaviour is at least a mildly redeeming quality as he moves to turn down another street, hands returned to his pockets a moment as he wanders steadily beneath the glow of the street lamps, so intensely aware of everything supernatural around him, like an itch he simply cannot scratch, a desire to destroy that is seemingly never quenched, unable to truly relax upon the street and assured so very man eyes are upon him- upon them. He is thankful perhaps, that her house is hardly far from here, seeing no need to explain how exactly he knows where she lives.

"Look I...."

He hesitates, if only briefly in whatever it was he had been about to say, seeming to consider his words once more as he continues to wander beside her, pausing only once they have reached the outside of her building, the man seeming content now to lean up against the lamp pole, arms fold back across his chest as golden hair falls back into his eyes in typical haphazard style.

"I don't know why the hell you summoned me or whatever it is you call it when you use those magic toys but I'd really rather you didn't do it again, because I sure as hell would prefer having had time to put my damn shoes on. Maybe just don't summon any men you don't know. Especially not Hunters, we....can't be friends, alright?"

Golden eyes flicker briefly up toward her own, taking some moment to gauge her reaction to such a thing before rapidly seeming to steel himself against it all the same, deliberately looking away from her once more. If only she didn't look so very much like Evelyn he was entirely sure he could have simply told her to get lost the way he should have. His friends died- all of them, it's simply what they do and he has not time, no space, no feeling left to watch yet another one of them get killed as this witch surely will too- eventually.

"Trust me, it's easier not to be my friend- I'm....a jerk, unless you've failed to notice my stunning personality. So don't play your silly doll game again, this....this is for emergencies only so for heaven's sake use this instead but don't get any delusions about me being your friend."

He simply moves to offer her the card, waiting for her to take it before withdrawing his hand back to his pocket once more, the card no more than his mobile phone number. It is significantly more civilised, he is sure, to phone him rather than summon him with demonic powers.

"This is the part where we say goodnight and you go inside, Serafina."

It is easier this way, he is sure, so why the hell did he feel....bad about it?
