South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The University places a high focus both upon educating future generations but also on research to help revolutionize the world. The University welcomes the talent of students across the world to enroll and unlock their unlimited potential. With applications from across the nation, classes fill up quickly.

It was colder this morning.

This. This was more like home and yet...less intense, less gnawing, less biting. This early autumn chill little more than the nip of a disobedient pup rather than the violent cold he had so become used to. Long fingers reach out and towards the nearest tree, stroking those frosted leaves with an almost queer delight before neatly pulling the ice into the palm of his hand, those crystals remaining perfect, unbroken, un-melting in the palm of a creature whom so well commands the cold. His interest within such a thing is fickle however, tiny shards of ice tossed aside mere moments later as his hand return to his pockets and the snowy-haired young man simply continues on. It is a rare moment of solitude for the morally questionable boy, having once more dismissed his companions, tired of their blather, tired of their stupidity- resigning himself to the solitude of the untamed Southern side of the town. It is a relief to be free of the oppression of buildings and narrowed spaces and yet those ever frozen features remain the picture of indifference all the same as he trails lackadaisically through the forests. His first night had been- uneventful and perhaps some part of him was mildly thankful for such a thing, so few seeming to have noticed his arrival and indeed perhaps Frost is given to find some sense of pleasure in this anonymity- while it lasted. That pathetically cheery party had provided enough information for a start to be made, that other Were's existed here was enough to hold his often fleeting interest and yet if any would prove to be of use remained to be seen.

The Westside was claimed territory, of that he no longer held doubt and yet a visit would soon be needed, the depth, scope and power of this so called Nightshade Pack was information his mind readily sought- though for now he would content himself with this rare moment of silence away from those he had picked up within his travels. Useless and vile beings that they were. Maybe someone would save him the trouble of their impending euthanasia- after all, they had long since passed their expiration date within his own mind. He desired a pack perhaps- yet not one crafted from fools. Those first rays of sun see the lithe, snow-haired man pause beside a frosted stream of sorts, yet it is not the sound of running water that so whispers to his senses so sharp, so practised- the senses of one destined to be prey and yet....one for so long whom has refused to bow to such ideologies of perceived position upon the hierarchy of life. Wolf. Some inner part of himself recoils from that scent and yet he has long since learned to ignore such an instinctive pressure, offering little more than a snort in response to this potent odour- turning his back upon it entirely.

Predators were often a waste of his time and he has little inclination to indulge this one, returning instead to the task at hand, nimble finger moving to the zipper of his jacket, shrugging easily out of the restrictive garment before reaching for his shirt. The buttons are easily opened, the white garment tossed upon the earth with much the same abandon, leaving the young man bare-chested for now, toned, hard frame exposed to the weak light of the sun and the bite of the air and yet- he remains unfeeling, the chill unable to take hold upon his frame- the boy seemingly immune to the temperature entirely. The titanium chain about his neck flashes weakly within the dappling of light that spotted his clearing as he moved to step towards the chilled water- halted only by the sudden proximity of the perceived predator, turning neatly upon the earth. His gaze remains hidden, those strange violet eyes lost beneath that forelock of platinum blonde hair and yet his gaze fixated briefly upon the creature within the shadows. He knows she is there and for half a moment holds some modicum of interest despite the fact she has interrupted his....shower. Maybe she holds some value- maybe she is worth no more then the dirt beneath his feet. Time will tell. Arms move to fold easily across his bare chest now, the young man leaning back upon the nearest tree, holding no doubt she can scent him, can scent that he is not a predator and yet....his movements so readily suggest otherwise as his lips moves to quirk upward ever so slightly in a vague indication of amusement.

"Do you want something, wolf? Or are you going to sit in the shadows until I drag you screaming from them, hmm?"

It is little more than a murmur, cool lyrics slipped from beneath parted lips, so simple, so calm and yet the threat within them is so entirely clear and cold as the air itself.
