South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The University places a high focus both upon educating future generations but also on research to help revolutionize the world. The University welcomes the talent of students across the world to enroll and unlock their unlimited potential. With applications from across the nation, classes fill up quickly.

I-I'M NOT WHO YOU THINK I AM.

South
Do you ever stop to wonder if they love you?
When you look into the mirror do you see the truth?
D-Do the voices in your head still got you confused?
Do they make you wanna say...
I-I'm not who you think I am.
Regan did not have much experience with these beings called 'Dark Hunters'. Mind you she is no stranger to Hunters, but the magical, born again variety are something new to her altogether. She had caught a brief glimpse and sense of the ones at the Masquerade and was not sure what to make of them. She would have to reserve her judgement on their species for now.

The forest and its alienesque silence was a welcome change from the onslaught of sound Regan had been exposed to over the past few weeks. She was not accustomed to the hustle and bustle of daily life anymore. Years away from civilization would do that to a person. Hell, Regan was quite pleased with her ability to re acclimate with society thus far. She hadn't killed anyone yet and that in itself was a huge feat, especially if you had any inclination to her normal disposition. People died around her -- it was a fact of life and one she would not shy away from.

Regan didn't have a pack to kill...though she had eliminated her family. After years and years of torture and mental torment she had finally snapped. Her escape had been inevitable looking back, but at the time, survival had seemed a bleak prospect. Until she had escaped...until that one moment they let their guard down thinking her defeated. They had been foolish. Unlike Raven, Regan felt no remorse for their deaths. They had deserved far worse than what she had done to them. Much, much worse. "There is no use fearing that which will inevitably happen. Make no mistake Raven, people are going to die. It is the price we pay for being what we are. There will always be those who either want to own us or remove our taint from this world. We can choose to die quietly when the time comes or fight to stay alive."

The ebony tiger lifts her head to peer down at the she-wolf. There is no missing the scent of fear permeating the air around Raven. Regan is no stranger to mental anguish, but not of this type. Remorse is not an emotion Regan is acquainted with. With a lithe grace, the tiger rises from the ground and pads silently to Raven's side. There, she lowers herself to wrap around the trembling girl. Regan large head settles against the wolfs ribs and breathes softly. "You will fight because you have to. You will survive because it is okay to be who you are. You never need to apologize for wanting to live Raven. Never." The two scarred Were's lay pressed against one another. The large ebony tiger curled around the wolf like a guardian sentinel crafted from the world's nightmares.

Regan is silent for a long while. Her thoughts shifting to the pair of male Were's she had met her first night in Sacrosanct. The tawny Leopard and the enigmatic, emerald eyed, black Panther Tetradore. So precisely could she conjure their images in her mind. Yes. They had seemed friendly enough...but Regan was wary. She must always be. She learned at an early age that love, family and friendship didn't exist in the capacity that a child perceived. She would never trust blindly again. "Yes. He...they...seem nice." She does not give way to her thoughts. Simply sighs and casts her violet gaze over the stream.
