South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

My Own Form Of CHAOS

I don't have a lot of friends to remember. My brother and I were sent to boarding school through our childhood where the other children were snobs and looked down upon the plantation boys with their negro work horses. They didn't associate with us so it was just me and Stefan all the way. Once we got older, Stefan found friends but I was too dangerous, too hot tempered and unpredictable. I got in too many fights. That's why I joined the military, to find something to be a part of. I found guys like me there and made some acquaintances but once I got home, nothing stuck. They didn't write and I didn't seek them out. All that existed for me in that part of my life was Catherine. She was my whole world. Maybe that's why it shattered me when I found out that she was only using me to get to Stefan. Of course she would want him. He's the better brother, obviously.

I listen with a carefree smirk as he leans in to tell me about his inventory and silver versus wood.

"It also splinters."

I snicker under my breath as his darts get away from him somewhat. He sends them flying at the target and manages to make it before using his magic to pull a table out under the man's legs, successfully tripping him up as he yips with shock. I raise a brow, watching as he starts setting up hurdles for the man, who of course can't manage to make it over even one. He trips up over the cues, sending them clattering to the ground as he ouches every time a chair or cue knocks him in the knee or shin. I smirk.

"Guess I should have picked someone more athletically challenged."

I look around, spying a lithe man sitting at the bar a few stools down, eying the entertainment with a sly look in his eyes. He seems to be enjoying himself. I clear my throat and when he meets my gaze, I use my powers.

"Grab those darts, will ya? Then I want you to switch places with chub-o there and throw some ballerina moves in for good show."

I wink at Davante, watching as the man gets up without hesitation, wandering over the other man who's now limping. He hands him the darts and takes the dartboard, taking off into a pirouette as he springs lightly over the first set of hurdles and circles around, holding the dartboard low between his legs. I look at the man now holding the darts. He's blinking rapidly, starting to feel confusion now that he's without a command. I walk toward him lazily, catching his eyes before I nudge my head at the dart board.

"Give it your best shot and every time you miss, which I'm guessing will be a lot, you have to pour shots for us with your hands behind your back."

I lean back on the bar stool again, resting my arms on the bar as I grin at Davante.

"We never said I have to throw the darts myself."
