South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Things Were Never Worse, But Never Better

South

He continues to do as any feline surely does, seating himself atop the object of his affection, long fluffy tail flicking about in delight at his new found throne, a satisfied purr given to stir within the depths of his chest in delight before the wolf's head raises to nuzzle beneath his chin in a manner entirely cat like and thus earning of his praise, jaws parting to let that rough tongue caresses her silver-hued fur in a stolen moment of affection between the pair. Her mention of never before having seen snow simply goes unanswered, the Leopard merely having no true answer for it, assuming it is little more than a statement, words that hold no question or information and as such merely drift as sound within his thoughts. Her voice, however, is hardly unpleasant, ears flicking atop his skull in response to her voice alone, those smooth and rhythmic vocals seeming to sooth the ever-irritable creature in these few precious moments of silence. It is unusual indeed for the woman to be so playful, her paws reaching upward to bat at him, such an unusual reaction from the female seeing his own features shift into a frown of sorts, one paw lifting to bat at her in return, mimicking her reaction now through his own momentary confusion. Her tone however, just as her frame, assure him all is well, her reaction merely...playful, like Nadya or Tetradore in rare moments of calm between them and yet this play upon Birdie is different...unique, his nervousness in regards to this change rapidly soothed as his understanding of 'game' merely takes over, head tilted slightly at the wolf's question now.

Birdie.

It is a look of intense seriousness that seems to overtake those spotted features now, the leopard abruptly lifting upward from the women to seat himself in the snow beside her, merely leaning over her now, eyes held against her own as he seems to consider the words he has been offered, frustration seeming to exist somewhere beneath that gaze, features shifting slightly with the sheer force of the effort such a thought has evidently taken to form within those fractured pieces of mind before he speaks, each word slow and measured.

How....could I....see the....snow fall...in my eyes....if they....froze off? You cannot...see it!

That it is perhaps, ridiculously, the most logical thought he has ever successfully exemplified is nothing short of astounding. After all, how can he see the snow freeze his own eyes off? The feline content to stare at the women in clear expectation of an answer is this regard, oblivious perhaps, to the fact he has, for perhaps the first time, showed some ability at independent thought on perhaps the most ridiculous topic they have ever been given to discuss. It is the implication of such thought however, that is surely far more substantial then the topic itself, Tobias displaying some ability at higher thought- despite the fact it is short-lived. He remains oblivious too, as to the woman's own inner thoughts regarding Nadya and the unborn babies, Birdie's own instincts a confliction perhaps to those that exist within himself, the boy never truly having considered anything beyond the present, incapable of truly perceiving future. He cannot comprehend Birdie's fears of displacement upon the birth of his own bloodline and her fears of being replaced by a women whom can give him only more of the kittens that do not yet exist. He simply does not understand nor perceive the ability to comprehend her fears, his own instincts direct him only to protect Nadya though he cannot truly fathom why he desires to keep her safe and entirely to himself, oblivious to this...investment he has made in some regards, doing only as instinct dictates in surely as much the same as Birdie does.

That kittens may, to some extent, destabilize his relationship with the woman has simply not occurred to him, that even Tetradore may very well feel some sense of threat through a child not his own and potential heir has simply never occurred to the boy- and perhaps never will. He cannot imagine an emotion that which does not exist. He has chosen Birdie, in as much the same manner as he has chosen Tetra as his Leader and brother and Nadya as his sister, such things are simple to him, the world clear and unchanging. Birdie is his chosen female, Tetra is his leader, Nadya is his pack and...keeper of his cubs, though where she keeps them he truly has no idea nor any longer seeks to discovery it, the only change to be made is merely the addition of the cubs themselves and that is all. His mind is broken perhaps, fractured, different and yet- simple, easy and so entirely clear. Birdie, it would seem, has little to fear.

Words from the wolf draw his attention once more, gaze resting upon her now as she speaks again, asking why he had left, head tilting once more to the side as he rests beside her still.

I went...for a walk

It is an entirely simple answer to an entirely simple question, his walk perhaps, having extended beyond the normal extent of a walk, the boy having been missing for several hours, his walk perhaps more of a hike and yet time is simply not a consideration under which he is affected, easily dismissing the woman's fears.

Birdie was...not bad. I got...presents for Birdie....because it is...Christmas and you have to...give people things. Do you...want to have it?

A cat-like grin manages to appear upon his features once more, tail flicking about as he stands now atop those heavy paws, brushing against the wolf once more as he passes her, proceeding to circle about in a manner almost...strut-like, the man seemingly content to continue the parade he so often does when his mood is given to be exceptional and instinct deem such a thing is fitting, the woman's unusual playfulness and the warmth she provides within the snow seeming to have stirred this curious reaction from the cat as he lopes about her once more with his feline strut if only to better display just how entirely good looking he clearly believes he is atop that carpet of white- even if his animal form is not truly designed for such a climate, leaping suddenly towards the woman before leaping away once more, clearly attempting to entice her to her feet and into a game, bounding back once more before springing away atop the snow, every watchful of the wolf, letting her get ever so close before always bounding just out of her reach should she attempt to follow. It is surely entirely clear by now- that he has no desire to willingly hand over her present, that titanium watch and chain about his neck shinning readily within the snow, Birdies gift to him from several months ago, having replaced the collar he had once worn.

Birdie....cannot get her present...unless....Birdie says that...I am...the most prettiest of all boys. Say...it.

He pauses now, amber golden eyes against the wolfs own, his ever dominant personality clearly displayed in this moment, waiting for the girl to follow the order she has been given and offer him the praise he has dictated he is deserving off before he sits abruptly opposite her now, clearly playing a game to which only he knows the rules, that ever volatile nature seemingly soothed in these moments.

Now...Birdie must....say....that Birdie....will be....my.............girlfriend...because I want...to keep you and...have you...in my bedroom....all of the nights. You....have to say it....or you do....not get....presents.

That blackmail is perhaps not entirely the way such a proposal should be handled has clearly escaped his attention, the creatures thick tail flicking once more as he continues to sit before her now, entirely assured he has won this dating game....
