South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

A mixture of a growl and whimper was the only response the wounded lupine felt like giving after the young vampire's hotly remark. Whether it was because Isolt was correct or Raven was uninterested with admitting she was correct it just didn't matter. All she knew was that unlike all the other Weres she could not heal extremely fast. It could have been because of her mistreatment and abuse she had suffered at a young age, or the malnourishment she received it could have been many other factors. Whatever the cause or case did not matter anymore. She knew her weaknesses and there was a reason why she didn't try to jump in fights, not when it didn't matter. In this case she did not want Isolt to be attacked and she threw herself into the scuffle if only so she would be okay. Though now it would seem that with the she-wolf's sharp fangs exposed and intense dislike with the idea of removing the blade Isolt was in danger with helping her wolfy friend.

Seeing the fledging vampire expose her own twin blades intensified the low growl that continued to rumble within the back of her throat. Her lips remained pulled back not daring to back down. It was not her fault she was reacting to her primitive need to show she was still not a thing to be trifled with. For her, weakness was death, and having the blade still lodged within her and having another predator so close and aware of her weakness was a threat she had to snuff out. Yet as her eyes narrowed and her hot breath could be felt over the pale cold dainty hands that remained around her wound there was a soft whimper when the girl took hold of her actions. Lying her head down against the ground her form would tense as she felt those hands get closer to the offending object, her teeth clenched, trying to fight off the need to attack Isolt. True she was trying to help, but still...the poor girl was blinded by her torn mind. It was when the object was finally removed did a muffle whimper come out of the she-wolf again as she remained lying still already feeling her blood flow out. Yet for some reason she felt the wound start to close quickly, almost as if she had the ability to once again heal, and yet that simply could not add up. One eye rolled over to Isolt, one grey-ear twitched at her voice and a heavy sigh came out of the troubled beast.

"I know, but they are still blood."

For a wolf pack was everything. Even this one that was never considered to be a part of such a thing knew that blood was thicker than water. Yet within this city, of all the people she met, many of them had treated her with kindness and respect. Something not even her pack or sister pack was capable of giving. Indeed she may not belong within a pack, but at least she had some friends. One could not choose their family, and she would have never selected them in the first place, but one could choose their friends. With the friends that she was surrounded by, including the one that remained sitting by her side, were the ones she would choose again and again. For a moment the she-wolf would lie there with comfortable silence between them, slowly lifting herself up when she felt like she could move again. Moving her dial she would slide her muzzle into her friend's hand, one pink tongue slowly coming out and licking her palm, ignoring the traces of her own blood that remained there. That grey soaked banner swaying side to side slowly in a friendly manner, her voice gently pressing into Isolt's mind.

"However, I do have better than them. I have friends like you."
