South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.
Home of: The Cavalry

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The University places a high focus both upon educating future generations but also on research to help revolutionize the world. The University welcomes the talent of students across the world to enroll and unlock their unlimited potential. With applications from across the nation, classes fill up quickly.

Had he been aware that the deep baritone of his voice had allured the young witch from within the depths of the forest he may well have been inclined to keep speaking, if only to lure her further from the confines of the trees that sheltered her feminine form and offered some protection for the variety of weapons that lay concealed beneath his sleeveless hooded jacket. For now his attention remains firmly upon the female wolf that struggles so uselessly within his trap, the young man quite determined to offer the world a service and destroyed the snarling creature. Weres, after all, are by far the worst of them, his mind have little to no patience for such vile animals that masqueraded in the human form on occasion. His weapon is entirely primed to shoot and debilitate the wolf, planning to entirely to let her bleed a little before removing her head from her shoulders when the sudden â€"snap- of a nearby twig sees the tall young man pivot instantly atop the tree branch. For a moment those golden eyes search the darkened shadows of the forest, narrowing slightly upon the wisps of ebony hair that manage to permeate his vision as another distinct feeling seemed to dance across his skin. It was nothing like the electrical wildness that so indicated a Were, more so it was lighter, cooler and so many years spent staring at such creatures alerts him readily to the presence of a witch.

"Hmmm."

It is little more than a rolling purr within his throat, attention fastened upon the young witch as she makes some sad little effort to run, her actions seeming to amuse the blonde Hunter slightly as his lip quirks upward and the gold of his eyes drops briefly once more to the struggling beast below.

"Stay."

He simply commands, knowing entirely well she can hardly move even if she desired it, merely allowing his own muscle to unfold as he leaps from the tree, knees bending as he lands to soften the blow of the impact of his boots against the heavy soil as he wanders a few steps in pursuit of the woman, taking a moment of so to predict her direction before unleashing his own supernatural burst of speed, allowing him to very near appear in front of the dark-haired witch as she flees, the poor girl sure to collide with him if she cannot stop in time. For a moment the young man merely examines her as if she is little more than some sort of designer object he half considers buying, arms folding across his toned chest, wisps of blonde hair catching the half light of the sun beneath his hood as his youthful features seem to frown, golden eyes widening slightly as his gaze rests upon her hair. She looks so very much like someone he used to know, a very long time ago. So long, in fact, that the memory seems faded and distant even to him, dusty perhaps, from being forgotten for so long and yet, this offers the barest moment of hesitation on his part, a truly rare thing for Az whom has been committed to this role for so very long and yet, for whatever reason the witch yields from him a pause, one hand lifting slightly as if he almost desires to....touch her- before a whine from the WereWolf seems to pierce that delicate moment of calm, returning the man to his senses and seeing his hand recoil as if she'd offered him a viper.

Golden eyes roll back the way he has come, gun pointed back through the forest as he fires, well aware the silver bullet will land in the dirt just in front of the Wolf, a warning shot and no less to remind her to damn well behave until he's ready to go back and finish what he started.

"Stop your fucking whining."

He snaps the words with evident disdain, gun twirled easily back around one finger as he moves to lean back against the nearest tree, attention on the witch once more, irritated now at his own moment of prior hesitation, forcing back whatever ridiculous memory she seemed to inspire within the confines of his mind, gesturing roughly back in the direction of the struggling wolf, gun tapping against his hip almost absentmindedly, though it remains entirely ready to fire should the witch try anything. She is young and as such he doubts the full impact of her powers, then again, he as young too- or seemingly so and he is well aware that more than one Hunter has died from underestimating a target. It is better he thinks, to simply not take any chances with two Unholy Creatures in his sights.

"Move."

His voice is rougher now, commanding, as he gestures once more back towards the wolf, clearly determined to herd the witch toward the animal and have them both in the same place. It is so much easier after all, to simply shoot two at once rather then chasing one through the forest, only to have to come back and track the other. Not that he can really be outrun, a fast moving Were or vampire perhaps the only ones capable of even posing a threat to his ability in that regard and truly he doubts either the witch girl or the Were are capable of such. He lifts his reclining form from the tree, moving to stand behind the witch and keep her moving in turn, back to the clearing and the wolf.

"Darling, if you reach for that bag or any of your little potions I'll blow your hand off, so don't try it, alright? Go stand near the puppy for me."

It is such a shame she is an unholy creature of darkness destined to reside in hell, otherwise he might be willing to admit that she was rather a lovely thing. Fortunately he is immune to the charms of the opposite sex, almost as if his attitude seems to push them away time and time again and really, he is sure, that is for the better.
