South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Theft was an unmoral act. It was something she did not condone. Yet spending numerous amounts of time with an individual that put her in unmoral situations was starting to rub off her. The Raven before knowing Tobias would have never dreamed of taking the cooked hot dogs from an unattended cart. It was simply wrong. Walking up to the cart and taking the hot dogs didn't even cause the curly-haired woman to flinch or hesitate. She just...did it. Tobias was constantly hungry and she was used to seeing him steal food from patrons in the park on their picnics or attacking food vendors as if it were sport. Other times he nudged her and told her they had to hunt because he was dying of hunger, the boy was always for dramatics. She even gave him the rest of her food, conditioned to such a thing, and yet it was slowly harming her. Gradually she was getting thinner and thinner with not eating as much and she was trying to feed herself while he was away so he wouldn't take the rest of them. To feed herself it was much faster to simply hunt for it rather than cook it, because he would come to her like a fly to vinegar.

Watching the woman stuff the hot dog bun in her mouth caused a small frown to appear on her mauled face. If she was desperate enough to eat bread, and only bread, then something was seriously wrong with her. Her head would tilt to the side as she caught a familiar and not so familiar scent. This woman was like her, a Were, and yet what kind of animal she was, Raven was unsure. Raven's scent was mixed with many: her scent was greatly intermixed with her leopard boyfriend, but it held the faint tendrils of other Weres like the tiger Regan, the panther Tetradore, and the Fox Alexis. Providing the bag of hot dogs to the other female was easy and she would seat herself at the other end of the bench, after Minn scooted over. Digging through her jacket pockets she dug out the package of condiments and placed them on the bench for the other to use. Placing her book on her lap she shrugged her shoulders as she told the girl just how she 'sniped' the hot dogs.

"Well, when he leaves his cart unattended it is fairly easy."

Her attention was stolen and focused now on the vixen that came forth. Sliding down the bench a little bit, enough to make room for Alexis to sit, one hand would pat on the empty mental bench for Alexis to sit down on. She was disappointed that the girl did not want to join a pack, but it was a matter she could not force. She had cleaned up the abandoned warehouse she and Tobias stayed at before he and his brother took over the Ark and she was hoping to give the place to Alexis. It was safe spot and near the Ark. She was sure Tobias wouldn't mind Alexis staying within the territory. Seeing the look of doubt on Minns' face caused Raven to tilt slightly allowing part of her curls to cover her scarred face. Blue-grey eyes held a puzzled look in them as her voice softly inquired something about this stranger.

"If you are unable to pay for a meal then why do you not hunt in your other form?"

It was safe to discuss such things. We are all Weres here.

I'd Rather Feel Pain Then Nothing At All
