South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

It was difficult for the young woman to squash any and all animalistic behaviors. Some Weres were embarrassed about their other half, refusing to act on their animal ways. Yet one could not hide their other half, it was something that was truly incapable to continue on. Raven did not mind her other half. She was born a werewolf and she had accepted this. At first it was exciting to be different. Already she was different from her pack, because she was the only child that belonged to the Alphas. She was a unique wolf, because her pack claimed to be the original start of every human that could change into the wolfish predator â€" there was a reason why most of the werewolf novels and movies held the name 'Talbot.' Yet something else made her unalike all the others...she was more in tuned with the predator with in far too much that caused her to promote fear with her own kind. Being feral was dangerous but not just for others...but for herself. Hunting and killing this rabbit brought satisfaction to other wolfish half. True she could have acted like any other human and gotten a hamburger from some fast food joint, but she had a different idea on what she thought was 'fast food.'

"I doubt others would want to photograph a scarred girl with a mutilated face."

One long pink tongue washed off some of the excess blood that had settled in the deep etches on her face, showing some of the grey within those scars. She still could not believe that she could be considered an object to be seen in such a positive light. Gingerly she would pick up the rest of the carcass and toss it to the side letting the ants and birds clean up the rest of it that she couldn't get to. Slowly she would rise on her grey paws and slowly inch forward to the girl, one ear twitched back and forth in a wary way. When she gets close enough she would rest on her haunches raising her head up towards the photos the witch placed in front of her. Quietly she studied the photos partly because she was fascinated and partly because she never had seen an image of herself unless it was a mirror or a water reflection. It would be awhile until she finally made her answer by placing her nose on one photo to the far left and the other to the far right.

"I think he would like this one, but I would like that one for myself. I've never had a photo of myself before."

She would nod her head in affirmation believing she had chosen correctly. The first photo she chose was one that showed her head hovering over her mutilated rabbit, the blood smeared over her muzzle and face, enhancing the four scars that were permeant on her face, her blue-grey eyes were piercing brightly from her ebony fur, as her bloodstained teeth kept their pearly bright color. She looked fierce in this one, her chest puffed out and her hackles still raised. She did look fierce in this one, proud, something she was sure Tobias would like. She wanted to give him something and she was sure he would like this photo. Yet the other photo caused Raven to finally see a part of herself. In the second photo her head was tilted upwards, the sun's rays highlighting the blue-grey eyes, brightening the blood that had smeared over her scars, her obsidian fur looked much darker with the snow in the background and in such a peculiar way she looked...innocent. That grey banner would swish side to side in the bloodstained snow as she looked back up at the girl.

"You are a nice witch...my witch she is...not as friendly like you."
