South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Oh, who would ever wanna be king?

at the end of the game, the king and the pawn return to the same box

"It's much like the plague, one person coughs and a majority of the city suddenly dies. Unfortunately, this plague took a friend." Though he mentioned the loss of his friend, he may as well have been talking about dreadful weather he sounded so torn up about it. If he truly was disturbed by this loss, it was hidden well behind a blank expression. No one could accuse Spencer of being overly dramatic, that was certain.

Where Dorian had always imagined himself as a dominant businessman â€" and he certainly had his moments â€" there were multiple instances that Spencer felt like he was handling a petulant child. A very powerful but petulant child that required a great deal of patience and subtlety in handling. When things went smoothly, it was a wonderful arrangement between the men. When things became... difficult, it was usually Spencer who would (grudgingly) step back and allow the younger man to get his way, namely because Spencer was loathe to lose any well-earning business venture. Still, where Dorian had his business-sense, the man was about as people-stupid as you could possibly get while still remaining a (semi-)functional member of society. A potentially wealthy people-stupid business-minded person was always in need of one thing: a slightly greed-driven, not-as-business-minded, people-smart person. Enter Spencer Lombardo. But wait- wasn't greed a bad thing? Don't be absurd. What, was Dorian going to run a charity or an underground black market? Greed was a driving force, it would ensure that Spencer got Dorian those connections he may want or those customers he may need because it was beneficial for both of them. Now you understand why, when Dorian spoke of work, that his interest was piqued.

"It may take me a while to gather enough resources to be able to comfortably set up elsewhere so there is no definite date set yet. Tragically, some of my losses may take years to re-cooperate." Spencer lifted his shoulders in a slight shrug, his interest admitted without having to back-pedal on his early statement. He was not about to grovel for Dorian's favor. They both knew that well enough after previous encounters.

Ah, there is the petulance. Where Dorian had been the owner of that cursed wry smile, it was now Spencer's turn to possess it as the younger man responded to the correction. "I'll get you the forwarding address to ship it," Spencer drawled with the wry smile lingering across his face before he pulled on the cigarette another moment. He still wasn't sure the appeal of these things, they always left his lungs burning and throat dry. He exhaled the smoke a moment later before straightening his posture as he pushed off the tree.

"Before we discuss any attempts to tempt to do business with you, I don't suppose your city is immune to idiocy? I would so like to avoid any further homicidal groups of Dark Hunters with a grudge. One or two are a nuisance but tolerable. Also, there are rumors that you have a problem with stray animals running rampant...?" Yes, time to begin collecting information about his new surroundings. He didn't like being blind and having come here completely blind was most unsettling. Also, if he was going to stick around for work, he would need to know the mood of the city anyway. You can't make sales if you don't know piss from water. Yes, he desired for a sense of familiarity and work was always familiar. You can change the faces, the products, the city, but the work never changed at its core.
