South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

The stars in their orbits

and the stars in their orbits shone pale through the lightof the brighter, colder moon

Nadya's gaze cast down to watch her twins learning their feet. Her brother was right, though the memories were very vague, the fire through her veins when she was just a child was downright undeniable when the full moon was in the sky. Though she didn't know how young she was when she first turned either. Her moment alone with her brother was short lived as their very own bull in a china shop came barreling through the forest and into the clearing not even pausing before lunging up to attack Tetradore with a head butt. There was no way to hide the roll of her eyes at the wild child's behavior. Nadya would never fully quite comprehend their bromance so simply remained seated where she was with her tail curled about her haunches.

Finally Tobias scaled back down from the tree to greet her with a flick of his tail against her body. Nadya's ebony head bumped into his shoulder blade returning his greeting with a soft rumble of a purr, "You have a habit of scarring away all the animals, that's why we never get a good meal." Though she reprimanded the spotted feline for being so careless in his behavior her tone was light. Her good nature snapped into a warning hiss at Tobias' quick spat at the cubs. While she still didn't move from her position her gaze narrowed at him in scolding, her coat ruffling from the sudden jolting need to protect the cubs only to smooth quickly as she regained her composure. Tobias had seen the twins in their human form twice before and Nadya had used that time to instill in him the possessive protective nature that he had for all things he considered his. Even if the cubs hadn't been his she would have used Tobias' particular trait to her benefit in order to ensure their safety. Tobias quickly stretched out to their level which the kittens eagerly took to toddling after his head, mewing their curiosity only to be tumbled by his paws and wriggle back up again. They were like boomerangs at this age.

Nadya was so focused on watching Tobias roll around with the kittens that she hadn't noticed Raven's arrival at the edge of the clearing until her brother's voice brushed against their minds. Her head swiveled about to eye the female with the utmost scrutiny to gauge what mindframe she was in, feral or not. There was no prominent threat and her brother voicing that no harm was to befall anyone allowed Nadya to not feel the need to move from her spot. She did however lift one paw to gently scoot both kittens closer to her. "Seems you fail at tying people up Tobi." Well he had just said Raven was stuck because he tied her up. Nadya's form slowly eased to lay on the soft earth with the kittens between her paws and began to lash out at them with her pink tongue. All in all it was perhaps one of the more placid meetings so far with no hissing or paws swinging.

Of course there was always that one that had to throw a rock in the pond. Nadya's relative ease immediately vanished the moment the large tiger came leaping down nearby hissing at her and the cubs. It was rather foolish to take on a mother. All at once every muscle tensed as Nadya rose to all fours, effectively placing the cubs behind her as ears flattened against her skull and her lips curled back to bare curled canines in her own threatening hiss. This tiger was of no stranger to her; it was the same one that guarded the door to her burlesque most nights. The only thing was that the fact she knew the tiger didn't matter at all now that Regan had just become a direct threat to her cubs. Before Tetradore leapt down from his branch, the quick reflex of Nadya's power lashed out like a whip at Regan seeking out her mind for a stab of mental pain as warning to back off. Nadya was practically vibrating with her growls and hisses, her claws gripping the earth with every ounce of control she had to obey her brother and not lunge at the offender. Everything had started out so fine and now was a fury of hissing and spitting with only one more thing needed to set it off.

A bear. Of course there would be a bear. It was like asking what more could go wrong when stranded and it raining. Nadya was more surprised than fitfull about the bear since it wasn't often you saw a Were that wasn't feline or canine. Only briefly had she come across the bear; long enough to abandon the deer she had just killed for it to have. Apparently her brother had been branching out quite a lot accepting any misfit Were he came across. And these Weres thought they could just muscle in to a new mother and touch her cubs. Nadya wasn't pleased at all when the bear came over and scooped Micah up in her jaws then used those long clawed paws to take Isabella from her side. This was not only the twins first change but their first outing outside. This was far too much for any new mother to handle.

Seeing as Tetradore was dealing with Regan Nadya snorted and growled as she approached the bear, seeking out help from the other member in the pack she knew would protect the cubs. "Tobi, claws." It was one of the things she had taught Tobi in preparation for the cubs; claws were dangerous and hurt the cubs and hoped that was enough to get Tobi to turn his attention to the bear. Obviously the bear wasn't harming the cubs but Nadya still didn't want them near it just yet. She quickly swiped at one of Minn's paws to move it out of the way before grabbing Micah around his middle and hurrying back to the safety of the tree trunk with him. Safely back at the tree she dropped Micah at her feet, grumbling and glaring at Tetradore as he dared look at her after it was the tiger whom tried to kill them. "You certainly are on a roll with who you invite, now we have two ferals." Venom laced her tone as she attempted to calm though her tail still twitched wildly.
