South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

kissing death and loosing my breath
Serafina's stormy gaze remained steadfast upon the man as he ducked around her shelf. Naturally, Serafina was intimately aware of every detail of her store, her thoughts already began to drift to what the shelf held - to what could have captured his attention. Intently she eyed the figure as he stepped out from around the shelf, her eyebrows furrowed ever so slightly. Serafina listened to his words, his philosophical disregard for her inquiry certainly managed to catch the young woman off guard. "I....I suppose so." She paused, her head tilting to the side. Serafina knew all too well exactly the sentiment behind his words. After all, she had lived the majority of her youth upon the streets - nothing more then a homeless child. She just appeared places, drifted through stores to skirt through whatever weather waged outside. The reminder made her strangely uncomfortable. Her lips parted ever so slightly, as if the young woman wanted to say something and yet, not a word was breathed. She simply watched him, listened as he continued, providing her far more of an apt explanation then before.

Her slate grey eyes shifted towards the store front at the mention of the storm raging outside. It certainly looked far worse then it had sounded in the back of her dingy store. Her inspection of the storm was short-lived, however, as movement in her periphery immediately brought her attention back towards the man that approached her. Her gaze darted to his hand and then back up again at the smile that lit his features with a kind of eagerness that caught her off guard. "Serafina Dubois...curator of these....things." She commented, gesturing briefly to the items that surrounded her. Serafina watched him as glanced around her store and immediately the girl could tell that he hadn't the faintest idea of what he'd walked into. "They all do things you know...it's not just...trinkets or junk...not the shit you find at antique stores." She commented, as if it really made a difference either way. "Sooo..." Serafina paused, shifting ever so slightly, "Are you here to buy something or just ride out the storm? I mean, it doesn't matter either way, you can stay regardless." She shrugged, after all, it wasn't within her to kick someone out in the rain - she'd be there enough times.
